"Never Forget" Means: Remember "Their" Crimes, Forget "Ours."

Have you noticed there is only one nation on this planet killing, maiming, and displacing millions of innocent human beings on the opposite side of the globe from its homeland?

A 9/11 Reflection: Remember “Their” Crimes, Forget “Ours”

"The criminal and racist US regime change invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, the cause of certainly more than 100,000 deaths there.

"The invasion was a lawless and unjust response to 9/11, a terrorist attack conducted mainly by Saudis and planned in Germany.

"It followed Washington’s absurd refusal of the Afghan Taliban government’s offer to hand Osama bin Laden over to the US."
you prove you don't know history--look up a country called Russia

"Risked midair collisions?"

WTF are you talking about? You're so full of shit dude. Every single one of those strikes was carried out with surgical precision.

The America-hating scum never stops. Hey, China is hiring.
Things to know about all the lies on Xinjiang: How have they come about?

I. As early as in the last century, the United States and other Western countries started to support separatist and terrorist activities in Xinjiang out of geopolitical purposes in order to destabilize China and contain its development.

"◆During the Cold War, British scholar Bernard Lewis concocted the theory of 'arc of crisis' aiming to fracture countries from the Middle East to India based on ethnic lines to divide the Soviet Union.

"Zbigniew Brzezinski, the National Security Adviser to President Carter, argued that the United States must prevent the realization of 'the age-long dream of Moscow to have direct access to the Indian Ocean'.

"The United States then launched Operation Cyclone, which lasted from1979 to1989 and cost up to US$630 million each year.

"Together with Saudi Arabia and Britain, the United States provided funding, equipment and training for Muslim guerrillas fighting against the Soviet Union."

Americans would be wise to never forget 9/11/2001 was the day when US Middle East policy blew back on the nation's financial and political capitals.

If Americans should never stop mourning (and avenging) that holy day of inherently "good" and "exceptional" America's unjust martyrdom, we should also remember events that led to that fateful reckoning:

"+ The US-backed Latin American 9/11 (the Washington-supported coup in Chile on that day in 1973).

"+ The ferocious 'Highway of Death,' when US warplanes risked mid-air collisions in their rush to mercilessly slaughter thousands of surrendered Iraq troops retreating from Kuwait in 1991.

"+ US economic sanctions that killed at least half a million Iraqi children ('a price worth paying,' according to Bill Clinton’s Secretary of State Madeline Albright) by the mid-1990s

"+ US funding and equipping of extremist Islamic-fundamentalist forces (for Cold War, anti-Soviet purposes) in Afghanistan starting in the late 1970s and 1980s, creating the very forces that would “attack America” in 2001."

So your saying Islamist radicals did this to Americans as payback for your little Christmas list of items? You ignore the larger fact that there is an idealogical war waged by islamic clerics who have not spread their caliphate only for the reason.. that they have experienced push back around the world but in some places not so much.

9/11 reflection has nothing to do with what corrupt U.S. politicians may or may not have done. It's about remembering innocent Americans who were killed that day. Americans have every right to resist terrorism .... you think this is such a bad place and unexceptional but why is it then that you see people wanting to come to the U.S. from halfway around the world? are they trying to get to Communist China? are they trying to get to North Korea? or Russia? or Iran? All these bastions of freedom and human equity you obviously love... I mean there could be no one possibly worse that the U.S...... so why can't we stop people from halfway around the world from wanting to come here?

The fact that the U.S. does exist is the very reason you have not seen a more aggressive China or Russia through the years. Take away the United States and that vaccum will be filled by something else so be careful what you wish for. We can already see China becoming aggressive with Taiwan in the vaccum of Leadership supplied by Jo Biden.

Why am I not surprised that you terrorist apologists are still around.

I agree, establishment progressive Republican George Bush 41 had planned the attack of Desert Storm 1 back in 1987. I know my unit was practicing for it 4 years before it happened.

Did you notice the words establishment progressive Republican? Just like John McCain, Mittens Romney, John Boner, all establishment progressive Republicans who fucked all of US just like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Bill Clinton. But hey, you keep voting for the same people, we didnt because we didnt want any more Bush's...

Perhaps some of America's "wise men" saw the fall of the Soviet Union long before 1991?

Control of Middle East oil has been a long-tern US priority, but Soviet nuclear weapons pretty much eliminated using the military to accomplish that task.

Once the USSR disappeared, many options opened up for both political parties.

The RUMORED Us backed coup

The highway of death only killed oess than 100 combatants and no known non combatants.

It was Saddam who killed those Iraqi kids.

The communists were a greater threat ergo no crime
