NC has responded to the Feds

Good, it's TIME for the States to stand up to this Tyrant Federal Government Obama imposed on us. and it's time to vote out these progressives from every running our Federal Government ever again. NO to Hillary the Obama in a pantsuit

We need a president with a better sense of determining what the real issues are worth giving attention to, discussing about how best to use the facilities is not the top of any concern among the people in this country. Seriously, we even have sanctuary cities that's blatantly disobeying federal immigration laws, and this is what finally draws the attention of the federal government to consider taking action by cutting funding to a state? Bathroom policy? No wonder this nation is so divided and screwed up!!

This post sounds almost identical to a spiel I heard the other day on the O'Reilly Factor on Fox News. It is incorrect. Paying closer attention to conservative social issues is exactly what the republican party SHOULD be doing...should have been doing all along. If they had been, the Trump phenomenon wouldn't exist and the GOP base would still have some respect for establishment republicans.

The GOP turning its back and playing down these social issues which hit viscerally at their base is precisely why the republican party is going extinct. You may want to get a look at the actual numbers of people who do or don't support things like gay marriage. Most people sit up in their chair when the number "90%" rears its head... Poll. Please Vote. Did You Have a Mother & Father in Your Life?

What a trite saying. But the reality is not every rule has an exception, and in fact the NCAA is actually pretty widely known to be assholes who have to be taken to court for the simplest exception to their rules.

The rule is clear and unambiguous. A 6'5" 270 lb man would NOT be allowed to say "oh I think I'm a woman now" and join a woman's basketball team.
nope !
problem there is if a 6' 5" man had all the work done to be a transgender female and was considered to be female for all practical proposes beside birth ( not all women can give birth either )
then it would be discrimination not to be on the team if she had the skill.
god is credited with say thou shall not .....unambiguously , look how that turned out.
LMFAO you are so fuckin stupid!
it's all you pal ...

tnn's theme song :

go back and the rules again you stupid fuck

English?

*read the rules

That's hilarious given that Trump is NOT a conservative on social matters like this and just kicked the dog shit out of traditional conservatives in the primary. Get this through your head, the average American does not give a fuck about these issues, gay marriage , who gives a fuck? Let's win an election so we can control our borders.

The Average American doesn't want the government getting involved and wasting their time pushing issues to accommodate transsexuals or those who feel like the opposite sex, choosing bathrooms. We have much more pressing matters and real issues to contend with.

The reason why Trumo is where he is at, is due to issues (like immigration) that gets ignored while allowing Obama to press forward without much opposition from the establishment in heeding the concerns of their constituents. If the establishment won't listen to the voters, they will flat out reject them for an uncontrolled and "politically uninfluenced" outsider with the courage to boldly stand and take on issues that should have been dealt with long ago. Every once in a while you need to shake the tree, to remind those politicians of the will and voice of the people they are supposed to represent.

I'm actually shocked at the number of people on the street who are buying both the liberal lie that businesses deciding who can use their bathrooms is government dictating the use of their bathrooms and the ones that buy the ridiculous narrative that the laws are actually about transsexuals. The left is clearly winning on this

The reason why Trumo is where he is at...

If you think men using women's bathrooms, showers and dorms isn't an important issue to women, their husbands, boyfriends, fathers and brothers, you're high on crack buddy. I realize you're going to have to trot back yet another Trump revelation: that he considers the 1 in 6 women who've been raped by a man as unworthy of protection from men in their private hygiene retreats denoted by the word "women" above the door. ie: Trump believes it's just fine for men to invade women's most intimate boundaries..

...which is especially unfortunate since that woman filed the lawsuit in California recently alleging Trump raped her over a 4 month period at Jeffery Epstein's place in 1994 when she was just a girl of 13... The New Lawsuit That Could End Donald Trump's Presidential Campaign

Oh, you mean that Poll: 6-in-10 oppose bills like the North Carolina transgender bathroom law - CNNPolitics.com?

Or this?

Poll: Anti-discrimination law support

It takes time, but equal rights always end up beating the bigots.

Equal is "everyone can determine who can and can not use their business"\

The media here constantly lies that the law prohibits transgenders from using bathrooms of their genetic gender. When I ask people here if it should be up to the business who owns the bathroom, they say yes! I tell them they just agreed with the law ...

If they omitted schools from that, I would agree with you. But generally I don't really care what government does to itself. But few in North Carolina realize that, the media just lies and says it's businesses. Probably for the reason that I just said, the part of government I don't really care either way about.

I wonder what a vote of the people would be if they knew that this also applied to lockers and showers (which it would )

I say, let's have it!

I know, it's yet another case of our authoritarian government's crushing of it's citizen's liberty. I thought from what I read though they were just going after the government side though of the law, not the business side. But I'm not clear on that. The Feds have zero Constitutional say over government bathrooms in North Carolina either

Think about the absurdity of that statement though, OMG, government is deciding who can use government bathrooms

The media here constantly lies that the law prohibits transgenders from using bathrooms of their genetic gender. When I ask people here if it should be up to the business who owns the bathroom, they say yes! I tell them they just agreed with the law ...

EXCEPT the portion of the law pertaining to bathrooms in government buildings. THAT is where NC screwed up.

If they omitted schools from that, I would agree with you. But generally I don't really care what government does to itself. But few in North Carolina realize that, the media just lies and says it's businesses. Probably for the reason that I just said, the part of government I don't really care either way about.

Just so you know, the Charlotte law that transgenders can use the bathroom of their choices does apply to businesses

The DOJ is bringing a civil rights lawsuit.

Civil rights are Civil Rights. A business will not be exempt.

I know, it's yet another case of our authoritarian government's crushing of it's citizen's liberty. I thought from what I read though they were just going after the government side though of the law, not the business side. But I'm not clear on that. The Feds have zero Constitutional say over government bathrooms in North Carolina either

Nope , the letter sent to NC definitely applies to businesses as well as government buildings.

I would disagree on the federal government having some say over state buildings. For example, if MS wanted to have "colored" bathrooms in their courthouses, the federal government certainly could and should say "no that's not legal"

I know it does, and I believe that if NC would only have made their bill about businesses it would have stood.

Truthfully, all NC law had to say was each government building would have X out of Y number of bathrooms change to gender neutral. Most bathrooms being gender specific and some being gender neutral, everyone could find a bathroom where they were comfortable , problem solved.
