It appears that Stroupe had been living with Hamilton for about four years. Why the parents let their 15 year old daughter move in with an older man, who would have been 20 at the time, is a mystery.

Stroupe’s family says she met Hamilton when she was 15-years-old and that over time, communication with her became less frequent.

Her mother, Emilie Stroupe, said she began to suspect something was wrong after seeing bruises on her daughter.

“I felt like something was happening and that is when he cut me off,” Emilie said.
Family members say the last time they heard from Isabella was in December 2025. Her sister said relatives repeatedly tried to contact her through friends and social media and even attempted to file a missing persons report earlier this year.
