FDR. We have kept increasing the taxes as the checks and benefits kept rising for any reason. Most people employed pay 6.5% for SS and 2%for Medicare with the employee matching 6.5% for the employee SS which is the EMPLOYEES money also. That is 15%. And we still are having problems with the program.
