Lions were never a favourite but regardless of any games on, I would turn it to the Lions because he was so unique, dominant and exciting to watch.

ALL of my following of professional sports these days is mildly pursuing an interest in the performance of a few individual players. I only care about their teams to the extent that those players impact the team's success.

Trout, Judge, Harper, and Ohtani, in baseball. Wemby, Jokic, Doncic, and TJMcConnell in basketball. Sinner in tennis. Scheffler, Rahm, DeChambeau, and Mickleson in golf.

That's it.

I blow through the Sports Section in about 90 seconds on most days.

I can't stand the Dodgers but I'll tune them in because of Ohtani. He's a once-in-a-lifetime talent and fascinating to watch.
