how do you feel about the Dexter Lawrence trade to the Bengals. Lawrence for the Bengals #1, the 10th pick of the 2026 draft?

The Bengals gave up too much for Lawrence, who’s coming off a bad year. Now the giants have two high picks in the draft, but they’ll mess it up like always.

dunno...

Bengals were at 10, likely stuck there forced to pick, and there isn't a DT in this draft as good as Dexter Lawrence. If you "wanna win now" ....

but is that really "serious," the Bengals "winning now?"

Burrow doesn't look "the same."

They may mess up #10 but most likely not #5. Time will tell.

Cincy has a good offense but no D though they added some parts in free agency, Lawrence can be of help to them.

Lets take stock of what the Bungles did here shall we?

They let Trey Hendrickson go because he wanted too much money I think was the reason.

Then they traded the 10th pick for Lawrence and then paid him as much as Hendrickson got from the Ravens.

No matter how good you might think Lawrence is there’s no way he’s equal to Hendrickson and whoever they might pick at 10.

Lawrence is a great player, he gets more double teams than just about any defensive lineman in the league. The Bengals need leadership, an intangible, and he provides that for the defense. Financially, it was a bad move, it will end up costing this team millions more than someone picked at #10, and he is 28 years old, so you hope he stays healthy.

The Giants clearly got the better end of the trade, and they were already deep on the defensive line. They can pick Love at #5 and then get a defensive player or wide receiver at #10.
