my thoughts on the whole NRA/Castile controversey

Reason.com ran an article critical of the NRA for not speaking out on the Castile, and many youtube commenters have made statements to the effect that the NRA not issuing an official statement about this is proof of their supposed racism.
I decided to make a vid today addressing this and bringing a perspective I havent heard articulated yet.

Here's MY take...

The NRA isn't obligated to comment on any event where someone uses a firearm against another person. Releasing ANY kind of a statement is tantamount to admitting they bear some degree of responsibility and they simply don't. Individual actions are the responsibility of the individual, the NRA is not accountable.
