America seems to be a follower with many of today's new technology, not a leader. I just gave you examples: slow bank transfers, lack of NFC technology, lack of chip and pin credit cards.
But we're
not followers, that's the point I am trying to get you to understand. Every example you just cited was originated in the US. We introduced it to the world.
The cable and wireless industry isn't regulated enough by government.
Nonsense.
I agree it is ridiculous how corporate clowns like Tim Cook try to purchase political influence. When other countries provide their citizens with much cheaper phone plans and faster internet (except Canada), we definitely have some improvements to make.
Isn't there some kind of law against bribery that needs to be taken against these corporate clowns?
No, there's no law against crony corporatism. They operate within the law and with the blessing of quislings like yourself who continue to elect the same corrupt bunch of politicians who are bought and paid for by the corporatists who just keep on rolling. You stupidly believe your "democratic socialists" are saving you from the evils of the capitalist while they are taking bribes in the form of legal campaign contributions to pick the winners and losers. The chosen few who have greased the palms of the right politicians have eliminated their competition and you get crappy cell phone and internet service. All the while, the snowball grows bigger, government takes more individual liberty and crushes more free enterprise and free market competition. And they've got you worked into a frenzy demanding more of the same government collusion.
What you don't seem to get is, this has been the nature of Socialism for 150 years. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The more power you hand over to your government the less freedom you have. The more you allow government to regulate and mandate, the worse the problems become.
Free market capitalism is the most benevolent and beneficial system because it allows competition in the market of ideas. New cell phone and internet companies can flourish and thrive without the burden of regulation to provide you with better alternatives. The inferior companies fail and go out of business. You will never fix these problems until you reduce the power of government so the corporatists have nothing to purchase the influence of.
