'My health insurance is going up to $800 a month with a $15k deductible and that's the CHEAPEST PLAN"

Oh they will in a heartbeat if the employee is higjly skilled. And said employee doesnt need to have growing the business on their mind.
Not if they know he will quit in 3 months.

Then you should be a proponent of raising wages across the board bigly. Most working folk dont have enough $ to directly pay for services. That isnt realistic unless employers are willing to put 20 thousand dollars per year. If thats the plan then force them to.
No, try thinking beyond propaganda. If there is no 3td party paying for them, the price of services will go down eventually. Government raising wages will also raise the cost of services eventually. Whenever one has to pay a 3rd party for goods and services the price will always be inflated. Government really does no favor for anyone when it gets involved in setting prices. Government's only role should be to ensure services are safe.

And regulate corporate insurance from purchasing services also. Thats corrupt. Regulate them.

Without a third party paying for them, people will neglect their health if they are too poor.

The problem with the GOP is that it has become the party that watches It's a Wonderful Life, and cheers for Mr. Potter.

Obama didn't destroy anything. This is what the Republicans have done. This is what you MAGATS voted for. And these are the wages of Trump. Your lesson is just beginning.

The real problem with O-Care is all of the requirements policy writers have to meet. It isn't like they can tailor a policy for the customer.
Actually, they can and do. I sold life and health insurance. I saw how they do things. It's bs.

They are parasites. Trump needs to do something about the whole insurance industry, it's gouging all Americans. In CA, where I live, they have burrowed into our justice system with mandated car insurance which has also caused the price of car repair to soar out of control.

Oh yes they will. No employee works to grow the business. Thats only for the owner.
Employees work for negotiated wages between employee and employer. A good employee will naturally enhance a company's worth and growth and they can share in profit depending on the negotiation.

Because Republicans got rid of the individual mandate, which was the mechanism that kept premiums low by keeping healthy people in the pool.
Marxist wealth redistribution in healthcare clothing. **** off.

I think you overestimate the impact. For example, do you know how many insurance companies were available in my area when I thought I might have to enroll in ObozoCare? I believe the number was in the 70s different plans with multiple insurance companies, including ever major provider in the US. There were so many to choose from it was almost a crap shoot on which one to go with.
Plans vs companies. Still was restricted by state.

The mandate was UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

I’d say if a redistribution system (which is how Obamacare was designed) only works if it violates the Constitution, it’s not a good plan.

Obama knew this, and his design WAS for it to fail, and thus get the universal health care he wanted.
Funny how mandates are only “unconstitutional” when people don’t like the policy. The Supreme Court upheld the ACA mandate as constitutional under Congress’s taxing power.

Mandates themselves clearly aren’t unconstitutional, states mandate car insurance all the time.

What is unconstitutional, apparently, is applied very selectively. Free speech issues, executive war powers, due process violations, those suddenly stop mattering when the president has the right letter next to his name.

I don’t mind constitutional arguments. I do mind them being used as a partisan veto rather than a principle applied consistently.

That’s just wrong. Insurance isn’t wealth redistribution, it’s risk pooling. Everyone pays in to cover unpredictable, high-cost events. That’s how all insurance works: health, car, home, fire, flood.
If risk pooling is “Marxism,” then private insurers are Marxist institutions, which is obviously nonsense.

Redistribution is about transferring wealth based on income or class. Insurance is about spreading risk across a population so individuals aren’t financially ruined by bad luck.

You’re confusing an economic mechanism with a political slogan.

There were about 20 differnt companies. You can't stand being wrong? Insurance companies are licensed by state laws. That is why they do not operate in all 50 states. The state with the most restricting regulations has fewer companies doing business there. It used to be Massacusetts.
