The fact of getting 1.5% more vote and a large electoral victory back in November says nothing about whether those same voters are thrilled, with the way it has worked out, though many still willing to stay the course for now, to see if this admin can get anything right.Nope.
The American People made their voices heard.

Massive Popular Vote by millions.
Congress
Senate
All swing states
Over 80% swing towards Republican regarding all counties.
Massive electoral college win.
The American People voted for DOGE. FACT!
The President does have the constitutional right to make cuts just like bill clinton and al gore did.
President Trump does have a mandate and it was given to him by the American People.
As for Musk (which this thread is about), not one single person cast their vote, because Musk would fix things, which he really hasn't. It is surpising, how many gov workers voted for trump, but now out of jobs, even though they were working as dedicated, contributing workers on important projects, even getting a letter in their file, saying they were let go for poor performance. I guess Elon want to cut the workforce as a matter of policy (whether good worker and important work or not) but still wants option to cheat them out of even unemployment, by unilaterally declaring let go for cause, instead of policy layoff. Nobody was thrilled he was mouthing off in foreign countries as he is supposed to have "dick" to do with foreign policy. His multiple NAZI salutes didn't go over well. NAZIS may be favored in the new administration, but generally still considered "no good stinkin NAZIS" by the rest of us, and wonder if he is one of them, at heart. Some seniors appear to be worried about their Social Security, they paid into for years, as they retire or are about to retire, due to major cuts in staffing by DOGE at Social Security, and they blame Musk. I cannot speak to any real changes in Social Security, as our checks (after being in the paying in general workforce for 55 years), as our direct deposits have not even had a hiccup. I cannot help but wonder, if Americans new to signing up to start receiving their retirement benefits at the end of their working careers, will have as easy a time. The stock market has been rocked by instability, Muck's stock, included, tanking on it's own, but that could be more to do with the shitty overpriced product, with it's many recalls and amazing drop in resale ability and drastic drop in value. Kind of make me wonder if some of the people vandalizing Tesla car lots are customer, that lost many thousands of dollars, more than cancelling any gas saving dollars they anticipated when buying cars with battery problems, sticky accelerator problem, wipers quitting in the rain, self driving fails causing accident and injury, etc. Propping up that company, may take more than the Prez hocking Tesla cars on the Whitehouse lawn and the Commerce Secretary advertising for Elon, to buy his stock, even though is previous investors have lost a ton and it does not seem any more an advisable investment vehicle, than the vehicles he sells, and I am sure the fact of two of his rocket blowing up after lift of, didn't help.
