Along with a partner I had opened a custom cabinet shop combined with appliance sales and installation. While I was out selling new cabinet jobs at night complete with installaton and then installing them along with appliances in the daytime, our inventory seemed to be disappearing out the back door. We opened in 1983 and closed in 1986. And this became a hit in '85 and rang so true. Ever hear of an "appliance garage"? we did those too. This video depicts the scene completely accurately, and works for today as well.
