After I take something two or three times, it ceases to work. This includes pain pills, sleep pills, allergy pills... Nothing works on me for long.

About 20 years ago, I had a couple of days of just terrible lower back pain. I found that lying on my back on the hard floor really relieved the pain and in a couple of days, I was pretty much past it and that was that.
