They translate the Bible and similar texts from their ancient languages, research their roots and put them into context. They also teach comparative religions of the entire world, not to mention philosophy, science, and all the arts.

You can surely find great wisdom in University libraries and lecture halls … if you know how to seek it. If you don’t have an open mind and don’t know how to seek and find wisdom — even in little things — you probably will never find it, in the Bible or anywhere else.
