Lots and lots of them. 303,000 apprehensions in 2017. 851,000 in 2019. If If Trump was doing such a great job on the southern border why did southern border apprehensions almost. triple in a two-year period?

The simple answer is that Trump couldn’t justify building his dumb wall when border crossings were the lowest they’d been in 20 years. He needed a surge at the southern border to justify the expense.

The US did not “close the Southern Border nor did Trump “stop illegal immigration”. Illegal immigration was at its a lowest level in 50 years when Trump took in office in 2017, but had reached the highest levels in 20 years by n 2019 when Trump declared a National Emergency at the Southern Border.

If Trump “closed the southern border” how was it still a “national emergency” when he left a office?

The only reason illegal border crossings were lower in 2020 was because of Covid. The spike in the border crossings in the spring of 2021 was widely predicted and the incoming Biden administration made numerous requests to begin preparations for the anticipated spike during the transition, all of which requests were for rebuffed by the Trump administration. Trump wanted to create problems for the incoming administration on the Southern Border.

Republicans have done nothing towards solving the board a problem in the four years that Trump was in office, and I know screaming about the situation he left behind and trying to blame it on Biden.

explain why illegal immigration was also lower in 2019 before your fellow communist unleashed a virus .... and yes your pathetic country is a joke ! how proud you must be that your country was bitch slapped by the Philippines over garbage !
