"Former top aides to President Donald Trump have begun an aggressive push to combat the teaching of critical race theory and capitalize on the issue politically, confident that a backlash will vault them back into power.

These officials, including Trump’s former campaign chief and two former budget advisers, have poured money and organizational muscle into the fight. They’ve aided activists who are pushing back against the concept that racism has been systemic to American society and institutions after centuries of slavery and Jim Crow. And some of them have begun working with members of Congress to bar the military from holding diversity trainings and to withhold federal funds from schools and colleges that promote anything that can be packaged as critical race theory."

Repubs have historically used culture war issues from abortion to gay marriage to transgender rights to get the base to the polls. Now it appears this election cycle's frontrunner is going to be generating resentment over CRT. A school of thought essentially putting entrenched racism at the heart of this country's most prominent organizing principle. Repubs are losing their minds over it...............proving the school of thought to be correct. More powerful than cancel culture, faster than the speeding bullet of editing comic books, the folks behind the scenes pulling the strings of a base easily manipulated see this issue as their ticket back to control of Congress. Because outrage works. It better. Cuz none of the meaningful policy positions taken by the POT (party of Trump) are popular with a majority of Americans.

The GOP thinks that hammering on certain social issues is politically advantageous.

They may be right.
Grievance politics has worked in the past for the POT. It's what got the Orange Messiah elected.
Yep. Much of what animated the Trumpsters was/is Political Correctness and Identity Politics. They've said so, from Escalator Day on.

Oh look, guess who is leading the charge................to the surprise of no one. Faux's raison d'etre is spewing propaganda for the POT.

This post is from a new book by an AF officer named Matthew Lohmeier, the book is "Irresistible Revolution" and in the book Matthew objects vehemently to indoctrinating the US military to Marxism.

"Marxism's Goal of Conquest & The Unmaking of the American Military"

Here are a few excerpts:
The "1619 Project" and CRT are not history they are ideology.
Their bogus history was refuted in "the President's Advisory 1776 Commission" report, written by real professors and historians, not stupid communist/racists. A 40-page report was released January 21, 2021. Read it and learn the truth:
https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.go...nts-Advisory-1776-Commission-Final-Report.pdf

The 1619 Project was published in NYT Magazine August 2019. It was an essay written by Nikole Hannah-Jones without any citations or references. It is simply incorrect, as documented and refuted by real historians. It is simply an amateurish attempt to "reframe history" and "decenter whiteness" according to the author. It is ideology pretending to be history.

Some of the unsubstantiated and simply incorrect claims include:
1. America was founded in 1619, not 1776
2. The reason for the American Revolution was to protect slavery
3. The US Constitution is anti-black
4. The founding ideals were all false
5. That slavery didn't exist until the US started it

The 1619 Project is nothing but a poorly written collection of racist lies.
There was no research, there are no citations, its total bullshit.

His campaign and his presidency were nothing more than a long winded "us vs. them" dog whistle.

There is nothing wrong with venerating allegedly timeless values, but that is a task for preachers and ceremonial orators — not historians. Hardly anyone who writes and teaches about the American past at the college level today, whatever his or her politics, would confuse the worship of founding principles with the effort to make sense of how the United States developed and changed. It is telling that not a single member of the 1776 Commission was a professional historian of the nation whose essence they lauded and which they vowed to make the core of a “patriotic” education.

You are such a knee-jerk partisan

The GOP didnt invent the social issues being pushed by the left

Those were your side’s bright ideas and conservatives only responded to them

Zoom, right over your head. As usual.

That commission report was an unwitting confirmation of the 1619 Project, not a refutation.
Wrong. I listed the lies of the 1619 project (below) and you just lie more, because you can't debate factual history.
Thanks for playing.
You have no clue what is real history and what are lies.
Enjoy drinking your KoolAde.

Critical Race Theory is a Marxist-based curiosity curiculum quietly being taught in US schools that teach our children to hate each other and this nation, o e that call s gor the US Constitution to be abandoned and the US government to be abolished & remade - everything our foreign enemies have been trying to do for decades....and De.ocrats - who have been trying to overthrow the govt gor the last 5 years through failed coups and Impeachments and foreign/Democrats supported and funded Marxist ideology-based domestic terrorists who have undermined authority / our law enforcement has been behind all of it....

And you Marxist ass-kissing snowflakes are blaming a coming culture war on Trump and conservatives for opposing the Democrar-Marxist campaign to destroy the US?!

The Democrat Party should be officially designated enemies of the state and abolished / outlawed.

Parents around the nation are revolting against crt. As are minority parents as well as many teachers. Has nothing to do with Trump or the fact that he resides in your head rent free.
There are COUNTLESS examples available online and on YouTube and Trump isn't in any of them.

Yes asshole, everyone hates CRT because it’s racist, Marxist garbage.

Keep peddling it though, it just red-pills more and more people.

Do you agree that the social issues a leftwing invention?

If so then the GOP is justified to use them as a political issue

Otherwise we get run over by the woke crowd
