While this is nothing less than a baiting troll tread, it IS a good thing that more people are wanting to learn more about the Constitution.

how posters, ostensibly not believers in egalitarianism, feel about their fellow citizens, ordinary though they may be (or maybe because of their ordinariness), who don't share their enthusiasm for the recent political turn of events and
so have become enough alarmed to get out the "book of rules" to once again take stock.
Thirteen of the 25 books on the Amazon "movers & Shakers" list are about the "founders," their lives, the founding history, and the significance of some of the documents of the era. All thirteen of those books have had recent mention on the
Glen Beck program.
How odd that a citizenry of politically savvy citizens would familiarize themselves with the constitution when so many new laws that are soon to effect their and their childrens lives and freedoms are being discussed by learned attorneys and academic scholars with an eye towards challenging their constitutionality. This concern is shared by many state AGs and professors of constitutional law.
For too long people, the self styled elites among us, insult their fellow citizens as TV zombies; more in tune with "Survivor," "American Idol," or "Dancing with the Stars" than with the important issues of the day; then when they show real interest in the nitt-gritty, they are slammed for pretensions of intellect for deigning to try to understand the rules of game, which American politics has always been
Any society ought to find reason for a new hope in such an interest and sense of duty to a more responsible citizenship, but it is being derided as if they are not sufficiently competent as citizens to become so involved in their own elections. The implication is that either they aren't intelligent enough to think for themselves (If they could they would understand what is good for them) ... or they are simply "tools" of demagogues.
This is a sad commentary on the growing class of elitists "True Believers" who feel they should be able to make judgements for lesser folks "who just don't get it" or know what is good for them.
