MODELS predicted Ian's landfall within 5 miles, 5 days out

Yes, idiot, really. It's like...

Slobbers a moron...

Hisses a moron...

Cries a moron...

Grumbles a moron...

If I was calling you a moron, I would have said, Grumble's a moron.

The former is a verb, the latter's a pronoun.

My sympathies for ya if you can't discern the difference.
And if I repeat "Mea culpa" will you bash me over the head some more, please!! :whip:

I'm used to it. Been through a bunch of them. Got out of the way of a couple of them. Had one drop a tree on my roof. That actually worked out nicely as it paid for a new roof.

Nope ... sorry ... with earthquakes we get volcanoes and a quick merciful end ... tsunamis clean up after ... but this is only every few thousand years ...

A remnant storm came ashore at LA this year, way to close for comfort ... I think I'd rather live where ice forms in winter ...

Just a dig for all you deniers who think models can't tell their ass from a hole in the ground.

You'd say the same thing if it hit Tampa, pull out a spaghetti strand from a large broad model and claim it predicted the landfall, because CNN is already starting it's narrative to smear Desantis by pulling the ole Katrina scam they pulled on Bush.
But his "pushback" on CNN setting up that narrative caught CNN off guard & flatfooted.

Lol...about 30 models went far astray of Ft Meyers :iyfyus.jpg:

Dude you are one st00pid mofu....d0y:eusa_dance::eusa_dance:

Only 30? ... that means the other 10,000 were spot on target? ...

Well ... no ... in the forecast discussion, the meteorologists were claiming to only be sure about hitting western Cuba ... after that, the models were everyplace ... some person with years of training and decades of experience choose this one point for landfall ... with the EXPLICIT WARNING that the exact point of landfall was less important than everything within 200 miles ... hand grenades, horseshoes and hurricanes ...

Naples was in the southeast quadrant ... and they got got hit hard ... again ... oh well, as long as they pay into their own insurance pool ...

If you reject the theory that the primary cause of warming observed since 1850 is human GHG emissions almost entirely due to the combustion of fossil fuels, you are an AGW-denier. It you don't, then you are not.

What I deny is socialism and standard of living lowering is required to fight it, which is what your side claims is needed.

You've posted the 72-hour forecast track ... go back to Advisory 2's forecast discussion, at the very bottom are the forecasted coordinates ... NHC put no confidence in that forecast track ...

Hurricanes react to land masses in strange and unpredictable ways ... anything after Tuesday morning's crossing of Cuba was still in the air as far as good science could say ...

Maybe I'm just a West Coast wussy, but a MURDER-cane that close would have me soiling my pants ... how can you people live there? ...
Just got off a conference call with a colleague and he lives in Tampa, and explained that the Tampa residents were working off being the target for the storm as of that Monday, evacuations, where the city shut down incoming traffic and used those lanes as additional lanes to move people out of harms way, he stated, that was not done in Fort Myers. oops.

what tests were done to determine that?

I need no assistance critiquing Ron Desantis. I need only detail his legislative accomplishments and acts as governor. I have already admitted that my creation of this thread was a mistake. I didn't expect that would stop any of you from flapping your gums about it, but at least I've been honest about it.

I'm curious Todd, what is the source of that $76 trillion figure? I'd like to know who said that and specifically what they intend to do with that sum.

Never mind, I've found it. https://www.un.org/en/development/desa/policy/wess/wess_current/2011wess.pdf

s0n...once again, you prove yourself to be a deep matrix bubble dweller. Everyone and their brother that's not climate obsessed aware of the 76 trillion $$ figure...for years now btw....d0y.

Exactly why climate change NOWHERE on the radar of voter concerns...which will become very apparent in 32 days :113:

Just a dig for all you that believe whatever CNN tells you to believe.
They are just flat out lying.
The spaghetti models had a range of about 400 miles... and that is just the ones that predicted it would hit Florida. Some didn't.
So CNN cherry picked one of the models that was only about 50 miles off and told you to believe this proves... something...

That you don't is pathetic but not the least bit surprising.

Lol...JC routinely humiliates you in this public forum dude.
Social oddballs don't recognize when they're being pwn'd...but the entire forum recognizes it save for three or four other forum regulars who are equally socially challenged. :bye1: :bye1:

Like I've said for many years...you're not a serious person. Nobody consumed by climate change hysteria can be a serious person....laid out brilliantly in the DSM 5R btw...

You were trying to make a point to show accurate modeling to show their value. Can you now say, blown up sir?
