Minneapolis Police Chief: "It has absolutely become an unlawful assembly."

Prove me wrong then.
Terry v Ohio. Detainments are brief and solely focused on investigating if a crime has occurred.

Cuffing and transporting someone to jail is an arrest.

They have 48 hours to file charges or release you squire.

The 48 hour rule.
That’s an arrest. After they arrest you, they have 48 hours to file charges.

Released 6hrs after an investigation confirming identity, potential intent and identifying any criminality.
Delusional. He was taken into custody and driven to the federal building miles away.

That’s an arrest.

No. So it’s your constitutional right to follow and hinder law enforcement and protest at any distance you want?

Can you get 6 inches from their face and scream at them ?

I am not touching you.
Following law enforcement is not hindering them. Someone told ICE that it is, but legally and constitutionally that’s just not the case.

That’s why they arrested him. They thought they had probable cause of a crime.

But they don’t.

Nope. They can detain you for up to 48 hours in most states, before filing formal charges.

That’s an arrest.
Nope.........they can take one in for questioning without arresting them.

That’s an arrest, not detention.

In Minnesota, it specifically says after arrest.

Nope.........they can take one in for questioning without arresting them.
If they force you to come in and be questioned, that’s an arrest.

You can be detained and not arrested

Following LE is hindering if they do not know who you are or your intent especially if you move in close as the subject did.

You can be detained without being arrested. Reasonable cause is not needed just reasonable suspicion.

15th post
He wasn't detained by Minnesota authorities.

He was detained eight hours which would be a 'brief detention' with a reasonable suspicion of having committed a crime.
Nope. That’s an arrest.

8 hours isn’t brief. Being brought into police custody in jail is not a detention.

That’s an arrest. You’re delusional.

We’ve seen lots of videos of ICE approaching cars following people and saying that following them is a crime.

You can be detained and not arrested
They arrested him by any rational account.

No, it’s not hindering. Law endorsement can feel their feelings, but that doesn’t mean they’re breaking the law. An individual is well within their rights to follow and film law enforcement. There is no threat. There is no interference. It cannot be considered illegal.
