Minneapolis Police Chief: "It has absolutely become an unlawful assembly."

Not arrest. Detainment.

From your provided link:

lProbable cause requires more than reasonable suspicion, which permits only brief, limited investigative stops and pat-downs when an officer can point to specific, articulable facts suggesting that criminal activity may be occurring.
He was arrested.

Detainments don’t last for 8 hours, they don’t involve being physically assaulted, thrown to the ground, shackled and carted off to jail.

Violence is what happens when change doesn't occur by other means.

Um, okay, except you can't really avoid reporting murders, can you?

Murder rate has declined since 2020, when it reached a high under Trump.
Maybe the change they are forcing isn’t wanted? But **** the concerns of those who are affected, right?

Yeah? Because it’s not because they hide that stats.

Geez, there is proof when they entered ...when they encountered border patrol and turned themselves in to them. Do you not know that?
Then you make the case they abused the system and are subject to be deported.

Facts of the matter clearly indicate an arrest.

See the link which does a good job explaining the difference.
I'm going by the detainee and MSMs own accounts.....
Fourth amendment. Arrest without probable cause.
While reasonable suspicion is required for detention of an individual by law enforcement, probable cause is a prerequisite for an arrest.

If they didn't come into the country through a port of entry, they are in criminal violation of immigration law.

No exceptions.

Their own account clearly indicates it’s an arrest.

You didn’t read the link.

He was never formally arrested. It’s still an arrest.

Detained with reasonable suspicion, without establishing probable cause for an arrest.

Not really. Lots of legal latitude within the definitions.
Not enough latitude to drag them out of their car, throw them to the ground, drive them miles away to a jail, lock them up for 8 hours.

You were trying to make the case they can hold people for two days based on reasonable suspicion, which is how little you understand what you’re talking about.
