Minneapolis Police Chief: "It has absolutely become an unlawful assembly."

They arrested him by any rational account.

No, it’s not hindering. Law endorsement can feel their feelings, but that doesn’t mean they’re breaking the law. An individual is well within their rights to follow and film law enforcement. There is no threat. There is no interference. It cannot be considered illegal.
Arrest and detainment are different codified legal terms.

When you're too close in their estimation especially in a high threat environment you’re are threat until proved otherwise.

Does not matter how rationale the detainee feels is it is.

Your sovereign citizen-like claims are just that sovereign citizen non-sense.

Yes, with different legal standards. Pulling someone out of a car, throwing them on the ground, shackling them, driving them to jail miles away, holding them for 8 hours is an arrest. No one would seriously suggest otherwise.

Too close to what? They weren’t making an arrest. They were just driving around.

There’s no sovereign citizen claims here. Just saying that law enforcement has to follow the constitution.

A quote from your article by Ryan Ecklund.

Ryan Ecklund continually refers to his being detained. You should contact him.
There’s no statement from ICE about it.

The facts say it was an arrest. When they’ve hauled you into jail and let you sit there for 3 hours before asking questions, that’s an arrest by any legal standard.

You can be detained in Minnesota for up to 36 hours to go before a judge and 48 without formal charges.

Too close to LE especially in a high threat environment like MN and doing something like following closely.

Your arguments sound exactly like sovereign citizens BS.

Your boy wouldn't be lying would he?
Just saying, that ICE isn’t on the record.
Eckland unequivocally states he was detained...
The facts of the matter unequivocally indicate he was arrested.

Nope. You can be arrested and held for up to 36 hours without charges. That’s an arrest. Not detainment.

My arguments sound like someone who thinks law enforcement have rational limitations of the shit they can get away with.

Ripping people out of cars and holding them for 8 hours for doing nothing illegal is totally irrational.

Violating DHS policy?
Complete sentences please.

I believe ripping him out and holding him for 8 hours would definitely violate DHS policy on use of force.

Citizens of this country are bound by laws, not DHS policy.

Not according to Ecklund, even after having legal representation.........

According to him they are.
Facts of the matter clearly indicate an arrest.

See the link which does a good job explaining the difference.

Looks like you got a case for lawsuit under your counsel.

What’s the point? It’s almost impossible to sue the government successfully and even if they did, they’re unlikely to get any significant compensation.

The officers involved will face no repercussions.

The abuses will continue.

15th post
"There are individuals throwing fireworks at police officers, individuals throwing ice, rocks, other projectiles at police officers. Um, it is well past the line, and people need to leave."

The mayor of Minneapolis was standing right next to him when he said it. It seems that these Democrats now recognize the difference between a peaceful protest and a riot. Did they see a new internal poll?

That cop should have been at J6

So then would you counsel to keep your distance and film? 1000’s do it every day without incident.

Probably wise.

It is wise, but only because the constitution doesn’t really matter anymore.
