You have to be desperate to cram into a vessel like that. Greece itself is doing poorly, and all these migrants are actually making it worse for the Greek people. There was an article the other day in the Los Angeles Times about the younger Greek generation giving up hope because there is so much unemployment and nothing is on the horizon for their lives to be better.
