by green energy mandates. Thanks libs.
You're welcome. Coal power is extremely pollutive. It's 2022, not 1920.
EDIT:
Underlying this vexing outlook is the grid's transition from fossil-fuel power to renewable energy. Power lost from retiring coal plants is exceeding the supply gained by new wind and solar farms.
"This is a harbinger of things to come," said David Sapper, director of intelligence for MISO markets at Philadelphia-based Customized Energy Solutions, which analyzes regional U.S. power grids. "These type of conditions could prevail for many years."
Maybe....just maybe they should have converted more of those to gas as they did with others.......no lets just shut off the power...typical lib idiocyYou're welcome. Coal power is extremely pollutive. It's 2022, not 1920.

More like "Blackouts.....you shoulda fixed your grid 10 years ago!!!"Blackouts......it's for the planet!!!
Grid was fine.....you seem to like denying reality when facts are inconvenientMore like "Blackouts.....you shoulda fixed your grid 10 years ago!!!"
GOP ignores a problem, the problem comes and bites them in the ass. I saw the same thing with the Texas blizzard last winter.
No commie, you filth should have kept your hands off it.More like "Blackouts.....you shoulda fixed your grid 10 years ago!!!"

I'm not an engineer, I have no idea. What kind of "grid fix" can compensate for a 90%+ baseload power plant being replaced by
unreliable wind and solar?

Coal is much cleaner than it used to be due to the clean air act of 52 years ago.
Is that what they've done in Texas?Maybe....just maybe they should have converted more of those to gas as they did with others.......no lets just shut off the power...typical lib idiocy
Wait, what? Kinda weird to see a GOPer say government regulation and oversight is a good thing, but whatever.

So how many wind mills within view of your home can I put you down for? You're welcome. Coal power is extremely pollutive. It's 2022, not 1920.

From which university did you get your science credentials? You're welcome. Coal power is extremely pollutive. It's 2022, not 1920.

He wants 100 and promises 10% to the big guySo how many wind mills within view of your home can I put you down for?
He's a dick but he's not wrong about Texas....The solar and wind tycoons there have something in common.....None are dems and hold all kinds of sway over ERCOT due to the graft they provide to Wheel's gop political machine. No commie, you filth should have kept your hands off it.
