Death rates appear to be worst in more densely populated states, because its more difficult to physically isolate.
Vitamin D levels are big issue in northern states, but Louisiana is an outlier.
Probably two other factors contributing: blacks tend to have a more severe reaction to the virus.
Yes also, death rates are always higher in those who have hypertension, diabetes or obesity, which might explain why Louisiana is bad, actually worse than Michigan. But they should have better vitamin D in Louisiana. Probably blacks have lower vitamin-D.
