Michael Mooron

A number of other blogs have been quoting this all day, and given my penchant to comment on all things relating to Michael Moore, I’ll do the same. Here’s the Mike’s Message from Sunday, Nov. 3rd.

Years from Now, They’ll Call It “Payback Tuesday"

You bet your ass we call it that, Mike. It’s payback for Jim Jeffords, and the way the Democrats have conducted their business since 9/11.

Dear Friends,
Well, folks, Tuesday is the day! The day that George W. gets taught a long overdue lesson. The day that we, the MAJORITY—the 52% who never elected him—get our chance to reclaim a bit of our former democracy (back when ALL the votes used to be counted).

Well, it looks like all the votes were counted this time, Mike, and you and your left-wing counterparts got your fat asses handed to you.

What if, on Tuesday, all of us, regardless of our political stripe, and just for the fun of it, decided to serve one big-ass eviction notice that said, you have two years to remove yourself from the premises-and you had better not damage anything on your way out?

An ironic choice of phrase, considering the vandalism that the departing Democrats from the Clinton administration did to the White House. But it looks like the electorate did indeed send this message, Mike, they just sent it to the Democrats in the House and Senate.

I think we can give Bush the Mother of all Shellackings on Tuesday.

It looks like you and your ilk got the “Mother of All Forcible Enemas” on Tuesday, didn’t you Mike?

Moore then goes on with populist get-out-the-vote crap, which isn’t worth a comment. He then makes this brilliantly prescient statement:

We will deny Bush control of the Congress next week, and then we all work to get him out of the White House in 2004. 2004 will NOT and MUST NOT be a repeat of 2000.

God, I would give anything to have been there with this schmuck last night watching the election returns. It would have been poetic.

Maybe MM will move to Germany or somewhere...at least that is what I am hoping. Better yet, maybe he will get the balls up to go on Hannity's radio show like he's been wanting him to and get his big ass taken down. That would be priceless.

:lame2: = MM

I do enjoy watching MM deflate.

I was going to say I love seeing him eat crow - but then he'd probably enjoy that.

Cambridge liberal, Moore's over-stretching makes me queasy. On the other hand, I watched Hannity for the first time the other day, and he was simply a bully. He had Geraldine Ferraro on, and the moment she started to make a good point, which she did very articulately, he talked over her and tried to shut her up. That wasn't any better a sight than Moore's sometimes bizarre statements.

Of course, the camera doesn't lie, and the F9/11 video clips showing Bush's deer-in-the-headlights response to the news of the WTC attacks was certainly worth seeing. Also, "Roger and Me" was a pretty good film, with not too much exaggeration.

One wonders what your face looked like when first told of the attack on the towers.

Seeing as this person is a socialist I am sure this person jumped for joy and screamed "Down with Americans".

He'll never go on that show, he already had his ass handed to him by O'Reilly and he doesn't relish a repeat.

He can only debate with 1,000 year old Alzheimer patients like he did in Bowling for Columbine. Then he was soooo proud of winning the debate with somebody that didn't even know where he was let alone who was asking him questions. :asshole:

What a classless moron! :sausage:

I prefer 7 minutes of "deer in the headlight" to 45 minutes of total paralyzation that Kerry says happened to him!

Have you seen FarenHYPE 911 yet? If not,you need too. I am not just telling you this as a Bush supporter, but an American. They have the school teacher that was in the room sitting right next to Pres Bush and she proves wrong all these lies. First of all,the roomers about the book being upside down is crap. She says she was sitting right there and the book was NOT upside down. Second,if you watch, you will see that on top of the news of the second plane hitting,he was also given a note to not do anything right now. Wait. The teacher said she thought he handled wonderfully and was very presidential the whole time so as not to freak out the kids. Oh,and it was 5 minutes, not 7.

I'm not being rude, just trying to fill you in. MM's movie is obviously ratical as is he-no one can deny that.

Do you have kids?

I wonder what your face would look like if YOU were prez, and you were in a classroom of little kids, when you are told the US is under attack. Would you start a panic, and scare the shit out of little kids who would not understand why you are upset? Kids get upset when they see adults they look up to for protection, get upset, and especially when they do not understand why.

At that point, what would you have done? Bush did the right thing by remaining cool, calm, and collected. He had to absorb what he had just been told, without starting a panic with the kids. At that point, he did not know for sure who was doing this, and I am sure he was trying to think about what to do next.

I wonder what The Prez's face looked like when Pearl Harbor was attacked...

All of this makes sense when you proceed from the assumption that President Bush is wrong no matter what he does. If he'd left the room in a hurry, frightening the kids, it would have been proof that he loses his head under pressure...oh - and hates kids, too.

telling him to do nothing? From whom, Dick Cheney? I'm sorry, but the appropriate presidential response would have been to excuse himself politely and leave the room in order to take charge of the crisis. I don't care if the book was right side up or inside out--a president shouldn't keep reading a children's book when he learns his country is under its worst attack since Pearl Harbor.

I do appreciate that you all are very loyal to your President. There is something to be said for that, especially in a time of war.

Mariner:

Are you not a US citizen?? If you are than he is your President as well. If not than you really have no say in how he handled himself in front of a class full of children and media personel.

Please dont give me that crap of "I didnt vote for him so he isnt my President" When you live in the US regardless if you vote him in or not he will always be president of everyone in the country.

If you dont like President Bush or his handling of things than do the US a favor and "GET THE HELL OUT.

If Kerry would have won than He would have become President of all of us. I dont think you would hear all the name calling from the conservative celebs as you hear from the likes of MM He is such a JERK. I hope he chokes on his supersized burger and dies...... :chains:

The president was handed a note by the Secret Service who have the honorable job of protecting the Prsident of the United States.

Their first and foremost concern was for his safety.

If you liberals would get your collective heads out of your ass and use some of the vaulted intelligence you keep telling the republicans about you may figure a few things out yourself.

No you cant do that you would rather find fault and blame instead of looking at the courage it took for him to not jump up and dash out and the children be damned.

When it comes to response to an attack excluding Nuclear would you have your President make a descission in 5 min or should he confer with his Joint-Chiefs-of-Staff.

Yeah, and your man Kerry did so much better, sitting frozen in a bunker with Tom Daschle for 45 minutes.

Oh, how many of you wanna be Moore is on an eating binge. I'd bet my socks he's polished off at least one gallon of Ben and Jerry's and one bucket of KFC, outside his normal meal times, between Tuesday and Friday. I just imagine that fat arm up to the elbow in "Chunky Monkey" and I can't help but laugh.

The right decision was for him to listen to the Secret Service. SOme of those children may have lost parents in the attack and him rushing out and them later finding out what was happening may have scared them worse. Keep in mind,he was sitting in a classroon and everyone else in that room(minus the children) knew more than he did at that point. I believe any President,if told to do so,would have sat for a few minutes because he was told too. There was a lot of press there, and I feel no matter what he did,he would be scorned.

Finally, what exactly do you think He would have accomplished in 5 minutes. Would that have stopped anything. No way. They could have been checking Air Force 1 or whatever he flew on that day. The whole issue is ridiculous at best and should not even be an issue. Come on,5minutes should define his presidency. That's absurd!! That's MM though.

What is it with you Moorefans??? George Bush was allowing himself time to process the information he had just received. What was he supposed to do, jump up and run screaming out of the room??? Unbelievable how Moore has made such a big deal over this and libs are STILL buying it hook line and sinker!!
:bangheads :spank3: :whip:

it still strains belief. The Secret Service thought he was safer staying in a known location for 7 minutes? I'd rather he start conferring with the Joint Chiefs 7 minutes before he did, and on the move, where he would almost certainly be safer than remaining where he was.

I am indeed a U.S. citizen, and very proud of it. I got chillbumps while voting. That doesn't mean I have to agree with everything every elected or unelected offical says or does. Systems like that are called totalitarian. I said "your president" a little sarcastically, meaning "the president you are so ardently defending."

Ok. The secret service by that time knew these were terrorist attacks. Had Al Queda been going for Bush in the first place they would have sent a plane into the little elementary school to start with (??? What-EVER!). But nope. They knew this was a terrorist attack and the planes were going for large casualties, and the White House and Pentagon..This was an international statement against our COUNTRY as a whole, not just George W. Bush..
For you to say that Bush himself was under attack is nothing but preposterous!!
This is a prime example of the flawed liberal thinking.. ARRGGH!!!

Oh and PS...If you don't like our leaders..Shut up or move! You and others who speak out against our country are the REAL ones putting us in danger from terrorists, who feed off of just this kind of thinking and division. It's the Moorecrowd that are putting us at risk, NOT GWB.
