Our gas is $1.38 per LITRE. That's $5.23 a gallon and that's AFTER Carney cancelled the carbon tax, which was close to $0.20 a litre. 3.67 litres to a gallon. That's 73 cents per litre.

Canadians would be grateful for a price below $1.00 a litre, which is still $3.67 per gallon.

Still trying to figure out why lefties like high fuel prices.

For starters, when I am out riding in other people's cars, I like driving on well maintained roads, which is what gasoline taxes are supposed to be paying for. Every time I go to the USA, I cannot help but noticing how poorly maintained your roads are - and TOLLS everywhere. Where does THAT money go since it's clearly not on maintenance?

When streets and roadways are poorly maintained, it rattles the frame, the undercarriage, and the alignment, and shortens tire life, all leading to higher repair costs. For trucking companies, taxi companies, bus services - all of the commercial entities who use public roads, they're paying cheaper gas prices, but higher maintenance and repair bills. For all of these companies, down time for repairs is a double whammy - repair bills are high, and they're not making any money when the vehicle isn't on the road.

We have ONE toll road in the entire province. I don't know anybody who uses it unless it's on somebody else's dime (company expenses). Our roads and highways are well maintained.

Our gas prices also go up every long weekend. Bastards!!!

The market went up because Trump lowered the tariffs on Chinese goods. Today he announced a 50% tariff on all European goods starting on June 1st.

Congress needs to spank the toddler and take away his tariff rattle - for good. While you still have ANYONE wanting to do business with you.
