Eph 2:11 Therefore remember that once you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “uncircumcision” by that which is called “circumcision”, (in the flesh, made by hands);
Eph 2:12 that you were at that time separate from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world.
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off are made near in the blood of Christ.
Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition,
Eph 2:15 having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace;
Eph 2:16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility thereby.
Eph 2:17 He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.
Eph 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,
Eph 2:20 being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief cornerstone;
Eph 2:21 in whom the whole building, fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord;

True Believers of, & in The Resurrected Messiah, & His Way,..... Absolutely must reject Xmas, Easter, etc., and Honor the Sabbaths that the Messiah kept.

By the way,.... They are not "Jewish Rituals",..... They are Yisraelite.

By the way,.... They are not "Jewish Rituals",..... They are Yisraelite.
"Yisraelite" is an alternative spelling for Israelite, a term that refers to the descendants of the ancient inhabitants of the Kingdom of Israel. The spelling "Yisraelite" is often used within certain contemporary faith communities, particularly among some branches of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement and Hebraic Roots movements, to emphasize a perceived original Hebrew pronunciation (using 'Y' instead of 'I' and 'ah' sounds).
The term is primarily used in two main contexts today:
  • Ancient Context: It refers to the people described in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament as the chosen people of God, descendants of the patriarch Jacob (also named Israel).
  • Modern Religious Movements: Various contemporary groups, collectively referred to as Black Hebrew Israelites or Hebrew Israelites, use this term to identify themselves. Many of these groups believe that African Americans, and sometimes Native and Latin Americans, are the true biological descendants of the ancient Israelites.
    • These movements are non-homogenous, with diverse beliefs and practices that incorporate their own interpretations of Christian and Jewish texts.
    • Some extremist sects within this broad movement have been designated as hate groups by organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center due to their black supremacist and antisemitic ideologies. However, these views do not represent all who identify as Hebrew Israelites or Yisraelites.
The spelling "Yisraelite" appears frequently in the titles and descriptions of books, religious materials, and merchandise related to these modern faith perspectives and cultural studies.

The King James Version is what I go by.

As far as scripture being left out, that's on the people who chose to leave it out, and that goes back to scripture I posted earlier.

Revelation 22

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Also, I don't believe everything I hear about people changing this or that. I believe a lot of that is people being used by Satan to confuse all things related to the Bible.

The only change/revision I believe is 100% true in reference to the KJV is that it was translated from Greek and Hebrew to English.

I guess that is just to say that Advent is far more important than just celebrating Christmas day.

Well really, you have from Advent around Thanksgiving clear through to Easter really, with Lent, Epiphanytide and Christmastide in-between, not to mention the Octave of Christmas.

Celebrate Christmas Day all you want, just don't forget to also keep a small place on your hearth open for the 12th day of Christmas, Day of the Epiphany, someone you know was born that day.

For what it's worth, that quote specifically deals with only the Book of Revelation itself. Because if it did not, every Protestant sect would be in trouble - as well as the Orthodox sects. (Protestants removed books from the Bible while the Orthodox added books to it).

Here is some Biblical trivia for you: The (most likely reason) that line was given in Revelation was because the early Christians were in a heated rivalry with Gnostic Christian Cults who were re-wording some of the early Christian manuscripts in order to fit their "agendas".

The beauty of that line is that if you read it carefully, it basically tells the reader that if they do not "add or detract" from that book, they can escape the perils written within it and their names will remain in the Book of Life. Whether that is intentional or not is unknown - but knowing that the Book of Revelation is written in code - it very well could be.

.

Catholics and Lutherans -- possibly others -- have a tradition of blessing their homes on the Eve of Epiphany by chalking above the door the year and three initials and four crosses. This year, the blessing will read:

20+C+M+B+26

The C, M and B are the initials of the Magi, Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar. Some folks believe they mean "Christus mansionem benedicat", which is "Christ bless this house" in Latin.

I am going to enjoy sharing this tradition this year with my best friend, who is a Lutheran, as we continue to share our traditions with one another.

If there are not enough priests who can chalk all the doors of the parish, the head of the house can use a piece of chalk blessed by a priest.
