The actual numbers are hidden at reliable sources but require secret codes to search for them. Codes such as "Presidential election voting numbers 2008" have to be used for example. Complicated, but doable once you get the hang of it.

They did the standard trick on Zuckerberg. They claimed there was a news bias (which is what they've been doing since Nixon to intimidate the press). Then they turned Facebook into ground zero for fake news. Many of the fake news sites are foreign. These are people who are looking for hits/clicks to get ad-revenue, and they discovered massive success with ALT-Right type stories: conspiracies involving Obama/Clinton; conspiracies with illegals voting, plus the standard anti-minority and anti-immigrant red meat... and the usual exploiting fears over everything from gun confiscation and the gay agenda to one world Jewish bankers and FEMA prison camps. One of the stories said Obama was a Muslim double agent.

This is tabloid stuff, and the market for it is truly large and scary. In 200 years History will record this as a Dark Ages of sorts. The Republican Party, in order to create the necessary funding and populism to take over Washington, sponsored a dangerous collusion between religion and business (both enemies of scientific research). The result is that they are marginalizing science while sponsoring the rise of fake news - and they use the culture war and identity politics to capture people in a bubble where Hussein gets turned into Bin Laden, Clinton emails are more important than manufactured war intelligence, and Climate science is a hoax. This is going to get scary. They have fully captured the media for over 1/2 the country.

The Left never saw it coming because they were playing defense against all the fake stories and the strategically manufactured outrage. This was essentially a coup. They stole the Supreme Court nomination, and I can't imagine them making it possible for people to vote them out of office. They will lock down the presidency with a combination of voting laws, local state officials and hackable procedures, and they will do it with the success with which they gerrymandered the House into one party rule. It's over. They will have a 6-3 Supreme Court inside 3yrs along with a huge cabal of rightwing demagogues spread across the intelligence and judicial branches. They are doing what all Revolutions throughout history have done. They are at war, and they are not going to let laws and truth stand in the way of doing what they know in their heart is right.
