Marjorie Taylor Greene claims ‘bullshit’ as expert says Covid vaccine saved 14m lives

People are saying it because they don't understand medicine, science, and pandemics.

MTG is full of it. Those who follow her are to be pitied, Harry.
john this was a new not very well tested shot....when many people died weeks after getting the shot....what the fuck do you think many people are going to think?.....especially those who didnt want it....

MTG is right. There's no possible way to scientifically or mathematically get to that conclusion. I don't even know if you can absolutely prove that vaccines saved 1000 lives. Liberals hate MTG mostly because she's much smarter than they are and is willing to challenge their absurd positions like defunding police, sex changes for 10-year-olds without parental consent, racist CRT, drag shows in elementary schools, catch and release of violent criminals and open borders to name a few things. Democrats hate that MGT will always stand up for what's right in opposition to the woke ideology Democrats worship. MAGA

"prove" is one thing, to look at the statistics and you see something else.

You can make educated arguments about how much the vaccine worked. It takes a lot of effort because clearly the coronavirus works differently in huge urban areas than in rural areas. Also depends on how different places recorded the coronavirus, how many people went to hospital with the coronavirus etc etc.

You cannot prove most things in this world, but you can look and inform and see the trends.

MTG is not "smart". She's a loud mouth who, like Trump, likes the attention she gets for being a loud mouth.

She didn't make a great argument. "Greene first dismissed the doctor’s comments as “bullshit”." She's Congresswoman and she can't speak better than "bullshit"? Can't explain her thought process? Or maybe that's because the people she's talking to are people for whom "bullshit" is the height of their education.

"Then she used her allotted five minutes to deliver rambling remarks about “all kinds of injuries, miscarriages, heart attacks, myocarditis, permanent disability, neurological problems” that she said had arisen from “people being forced to take vaccines”."

This isn't an argument. This is just saying "this happened, therefore bad".

Yes, there needs to be an open debate about vaccines, yes, some of the people pushing the other side, intelligent people, are not being entirely honest. But you're not going to get anywhere by coming across as a child, like MTG does.

I agree that MTG can be blunt and sometime even crude, but I don't have a problem with that in this case. She has been called a wack job and a neanderthal by the MSM, the pharmaceuticals and the deep state. She has been called a liar by liars and a conspiracist by conspiracists. So in light of the fact that vaccines have been shown to cause illnesses and death in some cases and have NEVER been proven to prevent COVID or its spread, I think MTG has every right to her strong reaction. No, I think you're wrong.

Yes, she can come with criticism, but intelligent criticism. She's not doing that. She's just getting people to doubt things without giving them any kind of information at all. It's bad governance, bad leadership.

The following is a list of the 20 largest settlements reached between the United States Department of Justice and pharmaceutical companies from 2001 to 2012, ordered by the size of the total settlement. The settlement amount includes both the civil (False Claims Act) settlement and criminal fine. Glaxo's $3 billion settlement included the largest civil False Claims Act settlement on record,[1] and Pfizer’s $2.3 billion ($3.5 billion in 2022) settlement including a record-breaking $1.3 billion criminal fine.[2] Legal claims against the pharmaceutical industry have varied widely over the past two decades, including Medicare and Medicaid fraud, off-label promotion, and inadequate manufacturing practices.[3][4] With respect to off-label promotion, specifically, a federal court recognized off-label promotion as a violation of the False Claims Act for the first time in Franklin v. Parke-Davis, leading to a $430 million settlement.[5]

Okay, and?

We know the pharma companies get up to all kinds of things to cover up problems.

That doesn't stop the fact that the coronavirus was killing people left right and center and the vaccines helped to lower the number of deaths, even if there were problems with those vaccines.

even if there were problems with those vaccines.
No longer an 'IF'.....

that should be evident to even the most aloof now Frigid one

that some keep hammering science, science, science , while it's orgins hail from this rock's biggest criminals is the epitome of cognitive dissonance....

It didn't take any political person for me to take the position of never getting an experimental vaccine.
I was convinced the very minute that the manufacturers were protected from liability that I wasn't touching the crap. Later, the fact that the vaxx didn't live up to it's promises only reinforced my decision.

When I finally tested positive for Covid it amounted to a minor 24 hour cold.
I have taken many other PROVEN vaccines, so that anti vaxxer line is bullshit.

Seems many folks have given up on it since only 7% of the population have bothered with the latest booster.

This is a decision between a doctor and their patients. Not from a political figure, media talking head or celebrity. They can all stay the fuck out of my personal health decisions.

The issue here is that there's a virus that killed loads of people. Also the other issue is, speak in a sensible manner, act professional, don't act like an idiot, and then maybe people will take you more seriously.

Anyone who opines against the national narrative is not taken seriously frigid one, they are simply dismissed as unprofessional idiots , and the sheepeople follow suit
