Here are some places that have made their cities safer, quieter, less polluted, and just plain nicer.

 
Something I bet all of you missed was him talking about Victoria. It's cycling infrastructure is built for families.

How cool is that.
 
Bikes do not equal good cities. Bike lanes are a waste of space. Americans do not live in a system where they work. I drive an hour by CAR to work. How long is it gonna take on a bike, which I’m not even sure o could ride anymore.

If you had watched the video... I know, to dream the impossible dream.

There's lots more, improving life for pedestrians, and mass transit.

Frankly, we do cities wrong. So, for the long run, we need to allow the sort of mixed use you see all over Europe. It just makes sense.
