Yes, they must use horn-based speakers for an app like that, but while shooting the magnet structure would destroy it, all horns break down into a magnet structure and radiation horn, so either one is rather easy to replace in and by itself.

Maybe I'd build a box around it and fill the box up with wet stone mix concrete.

Speaking of horns, here is the magnet to the horn tweeters on a home stereo I once built; it was just a test fit and the magnet is still very dirty, but you can see the cooling heat sinks around the sides of it to keep the magnet from overheating.

Maybe someone could use something like that to play some Led Zep every morning over the sound of those prayers to drown them out. The horn above was designed for stadiums so I'm sure it could carry Whole Lotta Love to the Imams quite convincingly.

The place I used to work had about a dozen unused EV horns up in the rafters. I should have tried harder to get them to let me remove them.

But I have so much stuff as it is.

I like the idea of matching their harassment with competing formats.

Those would probably make good horns for a home speaker system. I use Cerwin Vega horns for the upper midrange-lower treble that are about 12-15" wide by about 10" tall.
