Maybe the sooper-expensive ones. But the Pick Up Truck is here to stay. It is the number one selling vehicle style on Planet Earth. By far.
Ford doesn't make cars anymore besides the Mustang. Generic Motors doesn't make a car other than the Corvette. Not sure if Stellantis (Chrysler) makes a car anymore. They say their mini-vans are cars but they aren't, they're minivans.[/quotre]
GM still has the Chevy Malibu. Chrysler has the new Charger.
Pick Ups are better vehicles because you can carry stuff, they ride better (longer wheelbase) they're much safer, they're easier to get in and out of, you can see better out of them, they handle inclement weather better..... And the fuel economy is coming around.
They're big, expensive, thirsty, and totally impractical in many cases. They have little to no secure storage.
