MAGA Convictions

No, they weren't caught red-handed casting spells. Dumbass.
It sounds as if you think there is something wrong with going to the capitol to kill all the politicians in it....... there's not.

It's like picking up litter; you do it to make your community a better place.

This guy is gonna be a crying bitch in prison.
What is he even charged with?

You leftists don't believe elections are legitimate unless you win them, you don't think riots, violent mobs, vandalism and arson should be considered crimes unless it's a conservative doing it, etc., etc.
Basically, anything goes for your side, and conservatives should be punished for being conservative.

I find your desire to have a system where one group of people is openly and blatantly discriminated against and persecuted for their race and ideology, to be disgusting, and an illustration of what worthless, shitty, ethically challenged and morally retarded people you all are.

Keep doing this shit publicly, and the people who end up shooting you all for it eventually, are going to sleep easy after doing so, secure in the knowledge that you were always just trash that needed taking out, anyway.

Lock this fucker up!

(2) ...he hurriedly tried to do the community service he'd been supposed to do a year earlier to avoid prosecution for a federal crime. And guess what? He *still* didn't abide by his agreement—trying to pass off 30 hours of community service as the 32 hours he was required to do.

(3) Just so everyone's clear on this, (a) the feds cut Shroyer a break on a federal charge, (b) Shroyer gave the feds the middle finger and ignored the deal he signed, (c) he then came to D.C. and committed another federal crime, (d) he then manically tried to save himself...

(4) ...from his *old* federal case springing forward and had his attorney lie to a federal court to try to make that happen, and (e) he's now charged with a new federal offense—closely linked to his first one—and *should* see his *old* charge brought forward for prosecution, now.

(5) Keep in mind that the whole time Shroyer was blowing off his *first* federal case he was (a) printing money over at InfoWars, (b) preaching insurrection, (c) committing other crimes he's not yet charged with (like conspiring to destroy property at the Willard on January 5).

(6) By charging this insurrectionist with a single offense and *not* springing his 2020 deferred prosecution, and *not* charging him with the other crimes he's on camera committing, law enforcement is going as easy on InfoWars' Owen Shroyer as it *possibly* can be right now.

(7) What's so confusing about this is that Shroyer is getting this sweetheart treatment from the FBI and MPD at the same time the FBI is anonymously assuring Reuters that they have *no reason to apply the screws to Shroyer* because Alex Jones is innocent as a babe in the woods.

(8) Neither Jones nor Shroyer have ever been interrogated over January 6. Neither have faced subpoenas/seizures. So it looks like the illegal FBI leak to the TASS-affiliated Reuters was intended to preempt questions about whether it should push Shroyer to cooperate against Jones.

(9) We're supposed to ignore the kid gloves Shroyer is being treated with—anyone else would have the book thrown at them over not just *one* case but *three* (2 FBI, 1 MPD)—and ignore that the FBI likely won't push Shroyer to inform on Jones, as we're told Jones is in the clear.

(10) And all this is coming from an FBI that leaked repeatedly to the Trump campaign in 2016 to help him get elected; lied to the NYT about Trump's ties to Russia; got attacked by Trump anyway; "investigated" the leaks for *5 years*, then concluded nothing could be done about it.

(11) It's from *this* FBI that there now appears to be a coordinated leak about Alex Jones timed to coincide with the announcement of a federal warrant for Jones's top lieutenant. It's pretty clear we're being told not to expect that the FBI will interrogate Shroyer about Jones.

(12) Given the reporting about Shroyer at PROOF and elsewhere, we'd have expected him to be interrogated *months* ago and facing seizures of his devices (remember, his group said *on video* that they were in touch with Team Trump from the Capitol on January 6, and taking orders).

(13) Now that the feds have leverage over Shroyer on at least *2* cases we hear, "No, we're just going to deal with one case, let him off on the other one, and not interrogate him on the present one." And as explanation—an anonymous FBI leak saying "nothing to see here" on Jones.

(14) How did the FBI determine there was nothing to worry about with Jones without talking to him? Who knows! But it's clear that all the evidence in the public sphere would've told the FBI that it *desperately* needed to interrogate Jones for his actions before/during January 6.

(15) So why does all this matter? Because then-President Donald Trump *repeatedly coordinated with Alex Jones over January 6*. So letting Jones off the hook without investigation now requires letting Shroyer off the hook on one case and not pushing him to cooperate on the other.

(16) This all looks *very* bad for the FBI. In any normal investigation, not only would Jones have faced interrogations and seizures but Shroyer would *already* have faced the same. Shroyer's past charge would be sprung and he'd face this new charge also—he'd *have* to cooperate.

(17) So Owen Shroyer can do his hang-dog face on TV—because it'll earn him money, and get FBI-hating Republicans to love InfoWars even more—but what we're seeing, again, is white Republicans with power being treated by other white Republicans with power (the FBI) with kid gloves.

(18) The FBI has done the bare minimum it can do to keep Democrats off its back. It has brought one charge against a man who deserves three—and *should* be put in a position in which he has to cooperate against a Trump co-conspirator, Alex Jones. But the FBI is *afraid* of Trump.

(19) The best part is that white Trumpists are *so* privileged that they'll complain about the FBI's kid-glove treatment of Shroyer as if it were waterboarding. Far-right terrorists will raise money and gain steam off whining about a rich kid getting "spa treatment" from the FBI.

(20) So when Rudy Giuliani says, "I'll go to jail—I don't care!" remember that we're dealing with a class of rich white Republicans—Trump, Stone, Bannon, Jones, Shroyer, Barrack, Giuliani, &c—who are *absolutely certain* they will never be pursued by the FBI as you or I would be.

(PS) For context, I have seen a district court judge in New Hampshire lock up multiple CHILDREN—actual juveniles—for being even ONE HOUR SHY of their community service requirements. These kids were locked up immediately—*on-scene*. Shroyer did ZERO hours in the 4 months he had...

(PS2) ...and then continued to do ZERO hours of community service for the 7 MONTHS after that, and not only *isn't* he going to jail, it's not clear his deferred prosecution's coming back. Oh—and then he lied to the court and committed another federal crime. But feel bad for him!
