By selling off our oil, the supply is reduced while the demand increases. Guess what that will do to prices in the days to come? We haven't seen anything yet. Trump is literally creating the foundation for a true mega-recession or a possible depression.

I beg to differ. Turkey may very well be needed if we do more things against Iran, which I'm guessing you would be against anyway.
It is part of a coordinated international effort to avoid catastrophic disruptions. Germany, for instance, is reportedly trying to fill as much of the gap as possible in diesel and jet fuels in Europe. Now when all of this is over, I have every expectation that Trump will move to replenish the reserves at lower prices just as he did during his first term after Obama drew them down without replacing the oil. It is one of the few things from Trump I I give him praise for.
