I have never been a fan , mainly because of those awful shirts.
They argue that Brooks was a rock star with a country wrapper and that his success made possible the likes of Shania Twain.
They go on to make the case that he attracted a non country audience who had little interest in the genre.
Im not the biggest country fan in the world but I can listen to some artists for days on end.
