Define: local government.

They rail against the Fed only because it's the Fed and it's popular to rail against it. Rarely do they speak out against any of the States, even though many Western states are the size of some countries and nowhere near resemble the colonies or early states in their size and numbers. If they really oppose the Fed on the principle that they support 'local government', why do they have no problem with people being ruled by state officials acrosss a state the size of a small country? Shouldn't they be railing against the size of Texas?
Not to mention their 'free trade' policies which hurt true local (city and metropolitan) business and local commerce.


If they truly supported local business and local control, they would be standing next to the communists, the minarchists, the libertarians, and the hippies from the coop. No, they do not support local control or local business.
