“It's an incredible way of putting it.”

Imagine what one million dollars would have done for millions of Americans.

Bloomberg spent $500 million on ads. The US population is 327 million. He could have given each American a check for $1 million and still have money left over. This would have been life changing for most people. Yet he wasted it all on ads that got him nothing.

Thought provoking.

Makes you wonder what it would do to the economy. People quitting jobs, spending etc...

we should do what the brits do. every candidate gets an equal amt of cash & an equal deadline for campaigning. that it. no outside money especially dark money.

was this like a talking points you people got in your emails?

This is at least the 4th thread on this topic.

Yet nobody whined about the more than 6 billion dollars spent on the 2016 election.

How much does Trump spend on his weekly pep rallies? Why does nobody whine about that money?

You mean he could have given each American one dollar and not one million dollars and had change left over...

Three hundred million times one million is more than the five hundred million he spent...

Read the OP again and noticed that in the Op the math is way off...

Yeah, I have to admit I did not really read the OP all that closely. It is just odd how this topic has received so many threads in such a short amount of time. This had to come from a talking points email or someone like Rush

From five hundred million you can give three hundred plus million people a million dollars each?

Show me that trick please!

Lets try this....327,000,000 x 1,000,000 = 327,000,000,000,000

It amazes me when people can not do simple math...

It remind me of the twenty million Amish fake news story when America has less than a million and many of Trump voters believed it was true...
