Close doesn't count in the NFL, for the Lions and their fans this is a big deal. Especially the way they did it, going 75 yards in less than 2 minutes with no timeouts. Their offense has been absolutely putrid all year, minus a few stretches of good playing. But today they finally got the job done.

And they're (Vikes) in the hunt for a wildcard spot too. Lotsa injuries to that team, but the same can be said for the Lions. OTOH, losing Thielen probably cost them the game, he woulda been a difference maker. But I will shed no tears for them.
