Lindsey Graham wants to protect human life. Others.. not so much

You're free to have lots of children with birth defects.

Dearheart, we already know how you feel about the disabled community, just like we knew how you feel about those Dirty Illegals.

So Graham took the bull by the horns and is exposing that too.

I told you already.

Your game.

Your rules.

You will hate it.

You should live by your rules.

Oh no, honey, this is the part where we make you live by YOURS.

Martha's Vineyard was just the start. I think the disabled community--which generally leans left--would be interested to know what you all think of disabled babies in the womb. Don't you?

Then that's a "health of the mother" issue. If the baby is destined to die in vitro or shortly after birth, then the risk of carrying on the pregnancy might not be worth it in terms of risking the mother's health (note: this is not MY argument but from lawmakers/doctors perspective).

Now granted while I have seen no comment on it, overturning RvW may have overturned the arguments in Doe v Bolton also. But then again, maybe not.

Now to my point. That is not the legal definition of "health of the mother". Health of the mother was ruled by the Supreme Court to mean any health issue. Any. Which would include "mental health". So with a mental health carve out a woman could state she was not mentally ready to be a mother.

To cover the above one would need a "fetal abnormality" exemption.

I was watching Fox News earlier and this creepy pro-abortion b**** had many criticisms of Graham's proposal.

She didn't make a lot of sense.. name was Liz Clayburn or something like that.. On Howie Kurtz's show. I was mostly watching Fox for Maria Bartiromo's show.. She's the best.

But anyway, there does need to be a ban after 15 weeks. Some of us say No abortion ever. But I guess that's too "radical"

and people wonder why our world is in the sewer, why it's all about $$ and power in DC and the whole We the People.. governing ourselves is just a bunch of bs anymore. The Ten Commandments became the 10 Suggstions

Politicians should not be interfering with the relationship between a doctor and a woman. This will lead to women dying during pregnancy.

People need to be more responsible. Less babies conceived is not a bad thing. Our church has several young married couples who have stated they will not be having kids. No abortions will happen. A courageous choice on their behalf. To this we will all agree.
how can a policy of NO children not imply an abortion may happen?

I say God does not believe in contraception. There is natural family planning which does not require anything artificial. Inserting an artificial barrier to avoid children is a recipe for disaster, as history attests. It is when contraception was widely accepted that we were led toward abortion. Sex for fun and separating the pleasure from the reproductive aspect was predicted by Pope Paul VI to lead to the mass slaughter known as Roe. But who listens to the pope anymore? Now that there is a heretic in the Vatican, people will listen even less--though this time, they are right not to listen to the pope.

In any case, truth doesn't change, God doesn't change. Our need for Jesus does not change. All humans must embrace Jesus and obey Him or they will end up in Hell. Sounds simplistic but it happens to be the truth

The state's primary objective is to protect its citizens, which includes those who cannot protect themselves, especially innocent children (who cannot vote)

Perhaps contraception is a gift from god. A true way of abolishing abortion. Less babies conceived could be a huge massive positive.

wrong
'
It seems counter-intuitive to say this line of reasoning is wrong but it is wrong

As the pope predicted in the 60s, contraception would (did) lead to abortion.

you get it into your head that having a child is the end of the world, then abortion is the only "logical" answer when your contraceptives fail-- even though it is murder (but just legalize it and then it is OK)

The perfect solution is alot less babies conceived. But of course you will find something wrong with that. You want people having kids they do not want or cannot afford.
