It's not an excuse. If you want to announce to the public that you are a filthy little monkey, go right ahead.
Opinion. A person wearing a MAGA hat is not a "filthy little monkey" or an asshole because you say so. At least not for wearing the hat. Therefore, if the hat is an excuse for someone to assault the wearer based on the opinion that the wearer is racist, it is also an excuse for
you to label him as an asshole filthy little monkey for the same reason.
You see, you have just as much hate as the guy doing the assaulting. The only difference is that you are not assaulting anybody.
I don't attack people for wearing a hat, but I have every right to think of him as a filthy little monkey.
I didn't say you attack them, I said you hate them just as much as the attacker does.
In case you're missing it, the operative word here is "hate". You hate. This makes you no better than a MAGA hat wearer if he is indeed a racist filthy little monkey.
The people who wear these hats come out of the sewers.
Opinion.
This hat is a symbol of the primitive.
Opinion.
I’ll just bet you were one of those people condemning the perceived racism towards young black men in hoodies. Tell me I’m wrong.
If so, you revile those whites you feel view the hoodie as a symbol or sign of gangsterism but
you’re allowed to use a garment as a symbol of racism.
You can’t have it both ways.
Never before in my lifetime have people chanted things like "lock her up" at a rally for a presidential candidate, wear shirts referring to another candidate as a "c**t," make nasty comments about other groups of Americans, and all the rest of the foul-mouthed nonsense.
You just referred to an entire group of Americans as asshole filthy monkeys, including the ones who did
not chant “Lock her up” or call her a “c*nt”, simply because they chose to wear a certain red hat.
Correlation is not causation. The hat is a correlation between racists and non-racists in support of an ideal, not a causation or an indicator of racism.
Yours is a narrow minded approach just as is the racist’s.
These people don't even know the basics of civilized American life and manners, and they put into the Oval Office a man who is himself a totally uncivilized thug, and the rest of us have to endure the destruction he, and they, are inflicting on the US.
They are certainly lowlifes to be avoided.
Given the harassment and assaults we’ve seen on conservatives lately, at the very least I can say that these anti-Trumpers are no more paragons of virtue than Trump supporters.
I’ve seen and heard rhetoric from the left over the past years that is no less vile, hateful and petty than anything a Trump supporter ever said.
