Libertarians Are The True Political Moderates

A prime reason why libertarianism is so ridiculous

I don't like schools ....so I don't want to pay for them
I don't like poor people....so I don't want to pay for them
I don't drive....so I won't pay for roads

Anarchy

Really? That's your definition of anarchy?

For fuck's sake, RW. Read a book.

Yes, that is by definition....Anarchy

Every man for himself

You're histrionics attempting to paint any defense of freedom as 'anarchy' just makes it harder and harder to take you seriously.

Libertarians want government limited to those functions which only government can do.
And I want a toilet made out of solid gold too. Every government in the history of governance has done nothing but grow itself and metastasize until it utterly collapses itself under its own weight. And that is why asking for a "limited government" is a farking moronic thing to ask for. Government is a disease on society and there is no cure except it's own self implosion.

Where humans once again begin the process of building another one to replace the failed one and round it goes.

The problem with Libertarianism is that it ignores reality, ignores that we are interdependent not independent.

No, it doesn't. It just requires that our interdependency is voluntary.

Anarchy

A prime reason fascism is so appealing to parasites

1- It is my neighbors responsibility to educate my children

2- It is my neighbors responsibility to feed me, insure me, quench my thirst

3- It is my neighbors responsibility to pay so that I can travel from point "A" to point "B"

4- It is my neighbor's responsibility to pay for the unnecessary military invasions of foreign countries ;

5- It is my neighbor's responsibility to pay for whatever I desire.

"The only orthodox object of the institution of government is to secure the greatest degree of happiness possible to the general mass of those associated under it."

Thomas Jefferson

What are the American ideals? They are the development of the individual for his own and the common good; the development of the individual through liberty, and the attainment of the common good through democracy and social justice.
Louis Brandeis, SCOTUS “True Americanism” (1915).

That does not mean a gargantuan welfare state ready to steal loot and plunder in order to support the ever growing hordes of parasites.

.

Keynes wrote "The End of Laissez Faire" in 1926. He was correct then, and his insight remains more valid than any economics that conservative Libertarians propound ad infinitum and ad nauseum. Laissez Faire is nothing more than a childish Christmas wish of no substance; just hope and myth, and smoke and mirrors. Fails every time we try even the tiniest bit.

80% of the population owns 5% of the wealth.

Who Rules America: Wealth, Income, and Power

The middle class has been eviscerated.

MIDDLE CLASS WAS CREATED BY PROGRESSIVE POLICIES, IT ISN'T A NATURAL STATE OF 'CAPITALISM' GROW UP

"Conservatives" is just a euphemism for thugs and bullies, so "Religious Conservatives" is redundant

That is the problem, conservatives very seldom tell you their intentions. They talk nuances "job creation" "deficit reduction", "Austerity", They just can not say it loud and proud: I WILL GIVE YOUR GOVERNMENT TO THE RICH AND POWERFUL, (because is unfair that The Middle Class make any money at all and corporations do not get to keep all of it) SO I CAN GIVE IT TO THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE MOST OF THE MONEY FROM BUYING CONGRESSMEN AND DEREGULATING INDUSTRY.

Aggregate demand - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John Maynard Keynes in The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money argued during the Great Depression that the loss of output by the private sector as a result of a systemic shock (the Wall Street Crash of 1929) ought to be filled by government spending. First, he argued that with a lower ‘effective aggregate demand’, or the total amount of spending in the economy (lowered in the Crash), the private sector could subsist on a permanently reduced level of activity and involuntary unemployment, unless there was active intervention. Business lost access to capital, so it had dismissed workers. This meant workers had less to spend as consumers, consumers bought less from business, which because of additionally reduced demand, had found the need to dismiss workers. The downward spiral could only be halted, and rectified by external action. Second, people with higher incomes have a lower marginal propensity to consume their incomes. People with lower incomes are inclined to spend their earnings immediately to buy housing, food, transport and so forth, while people with much higher incomes cannot consume everything. They save instead, which means that the ‘velocity of money’ or the circulation of income through different hands in the economy is decreased. This lowered the rate of growth. Spending should therefore target public works programmes on a large enough scale to speed up growth to its previous levels.

Well, we tested Keynes to hell and back.......Massive influx in currency by the Gov't and the Federal Reserve. Well over 22 TRILLION when counting the back door bail outs from the Federal Reserve.

How's his theory working out on the VELOCITY OF MONEY.............

It is not a defense of freedom. It is libertarians refusing to participate in any aspect of society they do not support

In a word....Yes

It is called belonging to a society. Something Libertarians have difficulty coping with

Lastly, libertarianism isnt a political position, it's, first and foremost, a moral and ethical position that can be summed up rather simply; do not initiate violence/force/coercion onto others. Which is why "no one practices a libertarian government any where". As dullards like RWer are constantly chanting. For government in and of its very nature is nothing more than the initiation of violence/force/coercion of all magnitudes against its subjects.

Libertarians want government limited to those functions which only government can do.
And I want a toilet made out of solid gold too. Every government in the history of governance has done nothing but grow itself and metastasize until it utterly collapses itself under its own weight. Where humans once again begin the process of building another one to replace the failed one and round it goes.

We have allowed them to do so. Had we kept them small and listened to the Warnings of the Founding Fathers we wouldn't be coming to that point.

For the Common Good has been abused to extremes. The extremes we can't pay for.

The other side of two steps to hell is currency manipulation. They warned us about that as well. Destroying our currency and lowering our standard of living.

The answer from the left is always more Gov't when they helped cause the dang problem to begin with. The GOP, RHINO'S, are one in the same as they are too used to getting kick backs from the same ones manipulating the system.

I agree with A LOT of what the Libertarians want. Not all of it. I believe returning to the intent of the original Constitution is needed. We have found out that we can take from the Gov't on pretty much everything under the sun. And when we can't pay for our FANTASIES, we print more money and continue spiraling down the whirlpool of our own making.

That's the human condition, fella. It aint gonna change. You have way too many who have a vested interest in using government as a tool to force others to accommodate their own self interests. Governments of all degree are predicated of from the monopoly use of force/violence. Therefore it will always grow and become more invasive over time, until it collapses under itself. The very ideological position of government is using violence against others. Which means it falls inevitably on its own sword.

Living within our means. Not destroying our currency from programs we can't afford to pay for. Wondering why businesses leave when you increase taxes, and then wonder why jobs aren't created at the same time. Bragging about the Markets, when just a few years ago your side was literally shitting on Wall Street over it. Complaining about Bubbled Markets and reverse course when it is happening again, saying look what Obama did.

Those are some things you don't cope with.

It is called tyranny by the majority, it is called gangsterism, it is called theft.

Something fascists have no difficulty coping with.

Leftism is hypcorisy and dishonesty. YOu can't expect anything else from guys like RWer.

I understand that and agree. Which means we are killing ourselves from within.

While we have a snow balls chance in hell to stop it, don't we have an obligation to at least try to reverse course...................................

Our Gov't, refuses to reverse course to our economic destruction.

It is happened throughout history in examples all over the world.

Anarchy

Just keep chanting that. But lying wears on a person.

The problem with a Lie is that it takes 10 more lies to justify the first one.

The left has used the method of the Lie to paint anyone who disagrees with them as Anarchist, Bigots, Racists.................These diversionary tactics only work because they manipulate the data to the uniformed to believe they are actually telling the truth.

Which brings me to the Catch 22. Tell a lie enough and it becomes the truth.

In a Gov't of Lies, Truth is Treason. That is what we have today.
