The US can only produce about 20% of the uranium we need for a year, and the mines formerly owned by the Canadian and sold to Russians produces about 20% of that total. About 4% of our annual need. Between 1993 and 2013 the US purchased 550 tons worth of highly enriched uranium from Russia. So I'm pretty sure we got more Uranium from Russia the they got from us.
