Lets talk about Tariffs and what they mean to you!

And they want our dollars, so if we cut them off by raising tariffs on their cheap shit, then either China lowers their tariffs on our goods or they get creamed with no more cheap shit sold in the US.
You do need to do more research before you open your mouth to put your foot in

China's percentage of trade with U.S. had dropped from 16% to 8% since the tariffs began. China's trade with Russia has increased 19% over the same period of time. China's trade with Europe has also increased. We (the U.S.) are not as important to China as it was in the past. That pattern will continue and increase even more if Trump raises tariffs even more

Stop going to walmart and buy a lot of my stuff local. Since i live in Florida, most of what we grow and make here, is a little more expensive, but i would rather save America and watch China eat their own.
See post #21 and get back to me.

Anyone that regularly shops at Wal-Mart or uses Amazon is an anti-American PoS.

Both of these global corporations were in on the scamdemic to destroy small & family owned businesses.
Wow, you are a true patriot. Evidently though, money is not as concerning to you as it is for most Americans. Most cannot afford to do what you do

Took decades of outsourcing to gut our tax base, and will take time to build it back. You want instant gratification, move to Somalia, where everything is 'free market' controlled.

Texas has a larger economy than Russia. lol if you think that makes up for all the loot China gets from us I have a herd of magic ducks you definitely want to buy.

I am talking about the pattern that is occurring. No changes of long term consequence happens overnight. Nonetheless, one pattern of humanity is to always look to save(spend less) for things and if we continue to make things more expensive for us and the rest of the world, our trade will continue to decrease. That is a fact and not a pattern that is positive for us.

As I have said a million times before and it has always been true and will always be true, extremes are bad. The middle road works and it means "give a little and get a little back".

Trump is doing the extreme and that will not work for the long term

Our domestic economy is easily self-sustaining; we don't cheap crappy toys, christmas ornaments, plastic shoes etc. form a country that will try to kill us. Even some the more dense tards are now figuring that out.

They all have tariffs, so obviously you're wrong. America built its industrial base on really high tariffs, in fact, and now it's time to rebuild it back. You seem to unable to figure out tariffs can be highly selective.

You also seem oblivious to REd China's tariffs, along with it's requirements for selling in their domestic market.

You live in a fantasy world and common sense does not exist there.

I never said that tariffs are bad and do not serve a purpose.............they do. Biden kept the tariffs that Trump imposed and they did their job. What doesn't work are the extremes (in other words, Trump)

Any price increases on imported goods will passed on to consumer. Tariffs are, as Senator Rand Paul R-KY), "A Tax On The Consumer".

Trump did something right?

So I nailed it, you don't know what you're talking about, just parroting an ideological fantasy line.
You keep proving MY POINT

lol Biden removed Trump's sanctions on Iran. Result: a few hundred billion more in their pockets to finance terrorism and make assassination threats against Americans, dumbass.

What high tariffs mean to me: less cheap crap with short useful lives (i.e. they break and can't be repaired) made by slave labor and more high quality made in USA items that are initially more expensive but actually less expensive when accounting for their useful lives.
