Let’s not forget…Trump had the House and Senate during two years of 45…He got nothing done on the border.

No cruelty necessary.
You and I don’t see it that way…BUT…When the very first illegal is plucked from the grasping arms of his child the left is going to lose all their shit…Trump has to anticipate it, embrace it and not give two-fucks.

I'd say an invasion rates a national emergency, as well as whatever action(s) it takes to mitigate it

He couldn’t even end DACA, he needed a ‘national emergency’ to finally make a measurable difference.
My point is this; he won’t be able to screw around, he will have to act swiftly, two years happens fast, he will not have time to waste trying to play nice, he will have to embrace full-blown cruelty on January 21, 2025.
Bull Shit.

Trump closed down the border.

People were still getting thru thanks to help from Demorats in CA and other border states.

The first time around he had a Congress full of RINOs and Never-Trumpers. They had zero interest in carrying out Trumps agenda. I would like to think he’s got a friendlier Congress this time around. Now let’s see how he uses it.

Let’s do Forget because that was then and this is now
It’s just more what iffing

He didn't actually have the house he had a bunch of obstructionist Republicans who were working with the Democrats.
There are still a percentage of them around. Trump though seems to have learned, and his administration will be better. And a percentage of agendas are populist so the acceptance from the general population will help on those. They cannot trust Progs though. They need to get what they can without being fleeced on any bipartisan legislation. A blitzkrieg as soon as he takes office is needed on many of the agendas. Get them done.

He offered DACA a path to citizenship in return for Democrat votes to stop the migrant invasion and pass other necessary immigration reforms. The Democrats and some RINOs refused and the legislation did not pass.

He build more than 50 miles of new border and replaced existing useless barriers on more than 400 miles of our southern border. That would have continue had he been re-elected in 2020.

He established a stay in Mexico policy for those requesting asylum until their applications could be adjudicated. And he got Mexico to put some 25,000 to 27,000 of their military on their southern border to stop the caravans from coming up.

That is hardly doing nothing don't you think?

Full blown cruelty

Wow. Are you actually Chris Miller?

What we need is a repeat of "Operation Wetback" 2.0...
~~~~~~
Then what would you suggest?
A few round ups and mass deportations of illegals could get the show going and many will take the hint to leave just as in 1954.
Indeed should get the ball rollng.
He didn’t get enough done fast enough…he didn’t act with enough urgency in the first two years when Republicans had both Chambers and time ran out on him. I can easily see that happening again this term.
Trump is going to act on whatever the people make him act on…Just four days after winning the tone is already changing. I can already see where this is going and how it’s going to play out.
Mass deportations of illegals>Mass deportations of violent criminal illegals>Mass deportations of criminal illegals>Mass deportations of convicted felon illegals>Mass deportations of illegals with two or more felony convictions>Mass deportations of illegals with three or more felony convictions>Mass deportations of illegals with three or more felony convictions who don’t have any ‘legal’ children in America>Mass deportations of illegals with three or more felony convictions who don’t have at least three ‘legal’ children and a legal wife>Oh FUCK IT, fuck mass deportations.
Bank on it…That’s how it will go.
For him to make even a small dent in the CRISIS he’d have to deport one million per month commencing in January because you can bet your ass that come the midterms he’s going to lose one or both chambers.
