The problem with Afghanistan is the Geneva Convention. If you going into war against the Taliban, you need to eradicate them like rats, shoot to kill. If the Taliban caught a Westerner, they're either shot, beheaded or blown up.

The West are too soft, might as well lie on our backs for a tummy rub.

"As soon as men decide that all means are permitted to fight an evil, then their good becomes indistinguishable from the evil that they set out to destroy."

It means if you commit genocide to destroy the Taliban you'll be no better than they are.

Captain Caveman wars like this are extremely complex---looking for the Taliban/Al Qaeda is like looking for a needle in a haystack....some of the warlords that helped us and worked with us, were also ''helping''/talking to/etc with the Taliban/Al Qaeda
....the political aspects/issues are are very intricate/complex
..no, we can't do it like WW2 and just blast away

Captain Caveman we did shoot to kill ..we went into Pakistan and killed their leader.....that's a huge political no-no to cross into another country without permission ..there's a lot of legality issues here ......and we said fk that

Mindful the root problem is that they are shitholes, only one step above the African shitholes....they have had mucho coups/bloody coups/etc....they don't have their shit together --their culture is crap----one step above African culture

That's the type of pussy attitude the West are up against

I know this from an ex-army guy that went on to become a body guard in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those countries portrayed on TV news are totally different. And he explained the restrictions of the GC. Many normal citizens who were even Muslim were hungover in the morning.
