Letitia James indicted

It. Does. Not. Matter.

See what I mean? You don’t listen.
What? YOU never listen at all. I happen to be at least one expert on this topic. And you don't understand. There is at least one more expert appraiser, and he agrees with me totally. He was never also a Mortgage lender, but I was for years.

For my loan firm, I never submitted appraisals though I was also an appraiser.

The mortgage document does not require she spend any time at the property whatsoever.
I posted the document. Why not post it yourself? She was banned in the papers from renting it out at all.

And? Doesn't prove she lied when she signed it.

Prosecution will have to prove that she specifically intended to rent at the time she applied for the loan and knew that it's prohibited in the terms.

I’ve been listening to you, which is why I know your comments are irrelevant.

It doesn’t matter what the bank trusts or doesn’t trust.

It matters that Trump lied.

This matters.

Lutecia James must have thought she was invincible as a member of the “female black” class. How else can one explain how someone can prosecute an innocent man for a criminal act that SHE herself was guilty of?

Have you ever taken out a loan to buy a home or refinance one? You talk like a lifetime renter.
I’ve never had a loan with a covenant agreement to maintain a certain net wealth, which means I’ve never had to submit a statement of financial condition.

But if I did, I definitely wouldn’t tell such obvious lies.

Anytime I applied for a mortgage, I had to submit documentation not only of my income, but of my net holdings as well. That is a statement of financial condition - my IRA balance, stock brokerage balance, other assets owned, along with any liabilities attached to those assets.

Honestly, it’s possible I did too. I don’t really remember.

But I definitely wouldn’t have lied about my net worth and neither would have you.

Trump did, but he’s part of the protected class and the rules don’t apply to him.

True, which all will be used at the Trial. But she will have rental documents used in the court that will show what she intended to do. How can she live in two states in 2 homes?

This is actually not common at all. She will of course have legal representation. But here is what you don't understand. The court holds lawyers like her to the highest of all standards.

If he lied, then the DEI AG lied too. She was on a personal vandetta against Trump and ran on “getting him.”

Damn, I get this crap all the time on this forum.

FACT: From the written memo he sent to staff. HE QUIT. Trump toots his own horn a lot and you guys say he lies. Why this time do you actually believe Trump?

You have yet to post proof. When will you actually post proof? If the case is weak, the jury won't convict her. Calm the hell down.
You believe the lies trump tells. Why not this time?

AI Overview

In September 2025, Donald Trump said he fired Erik Siebert, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, after Seibert's office found insufficient evidence to charge New York Attorney General Letitia James. Siebert, however, had submitted his own resignation.
The firing or resignation
  • Trump's claim: In a post on Truth Social, Trump disputed the reports that Siebert had resigned, stating, "He didn't quit, I fired him!"
Quit or fired is not the pertinent point. That point is if Seibert had not quit he knew he would be fired based on trump's public comments.

US prosecutor resigns after Trump says 'I want him out'

Most importantly, we know why he wanted Seibert out. trump wanted Comey (and James) to be prosecuted regardless of whether there was evidence to make a winnable case.

Whether the case is weak is also not in dispute. Documentary evidence has already been uncovered indicting James is not guilty. If you think it's no big deal that the POTUS' enemies are being prosecuted because a jury will likely find them innocent you don't understand the first thing about the design of our legal system.

Federal prosecutor resists pressure from Trump to charge Letitia James

William Pulte, the Federal Housing Finance Agency head and a staunch Trump ally, made a criminal referral of James to the justice department in April, alleging she may have committed mortgage fraud. Pulte pointed to mortgage documents related to a 2023 Norfolk, Virginia, home James helped purchase for her niece in which James appeared to indicate on a document she intended to use the home as her primary residence. James was serving as the attorney general of New York at the time.

Prosecutors empaneled a grand jury in May to investigate, but struggled to build a case against James, despite pressure from Trump allies. Emails from the time of the home purchase and other mortgage documents show James clearly indicating that she did not intend for the home to be her primary residence. That evidence makes it difficult for prosecutors to prove that James knowingly lied on the mortgage documents.

Multiple prosecutors in the eastern district of Virginia have either been fired or resigned in recent weeks as Trump has increased pressure on the office to bring charges against Comey and James.

Erik Siebert, Halligan’s predecessor, resigned on 19 September after facing pressure from Trump to file charges. Maya Song, a top Siebert deputy, was also fired in late September. Michael Ben’Ary, a top national security prosecutor in the office, was also fired last week after Julie Kelly, a pro-Trump media personality, falsely accused him of working on the Comey case.

If we trusted you liars, why would we require you sign papers so we could get proof you were not lying to us?

He definitely lied. It’s been proven at court.

But none of you guys cared, and didn’t think it was a crime.

Is that because he’s part of that protected class? Elite rich white guys?

Why didn’t the bank appraise all of Trump’s properties on the statement?

Apparently it was NOT a crime. It was overturned on appeal.

Because they knew he’d be good for the money and were eager to cement the loan deal.

You, OTOH, are a nobody and the bank needs more proof where you’re concerned.
