So, according to new york law, your office is considered vacated if you are not longer a resident of the state. If James assumed residency in Virginia, as what was alleged for her tax filings, and thus indicated her intent to occupy the house in Virginia, then that means she has vacated her office of attorney General. Does this mean she hasn't been AG since..2023?

Also, considering all this happened around the same time she was prosecuting trump, this means she may not have actually been AG while she was working on the trump case.

If this gets to court, and they declare that when she claimed residency in Virginia, she vacated her office, then her case against trump would be considered voided...correct?

Also, it would be interesting to see if she claimed the house in Virginia as her primary residence for tax purposes, AND if she also claimed her house in new york as her primary residence, for tax purposes.

That could get her in legal trouble in both states.
