I recall how Billy the Bagman auditioned to get the AG job during trump 1.0 by writing a paper explaining his position on the unitary executive. It was music to trump's ears.
So too was Blanche's first press conference when he openly admitted to being in support of the unconstitutional belief a prez has an obligation to pursue revenge against his perceived enemies.

Blanche has already passed his first sycophancy test as acting AG.

I hope Blanche indicts "sanctuary" mayors and governors for obstructing the legitimate ICE activities in their jurisdictions. We need local police helping with crowd control, not obstructing ICE.

By stating the plain truth that the President is his boss?As we know now she was lying at the time but..............remember when Pam said, during her confirmation hearing, she would not follow an illegal order coming from the prez? And that he would not issue one.It was disingenuous of course but it at least maintained a pretense that the DoJ would not be overtly corrupt.

The president has privately and publicly complained that the Justice Department has not been aggressive enough in pursuing criminal cases against those he dislikes, including the former F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, and the attorney general of New York, Letitia James. But Mr. Blanche denied anything untoward about the president’s approach to the department.
“We have thousands of ongoing investigations and prosecutions going on in this country right now, and it is true that some of them involve men, women and entities that the president in the past has had issues with and that believe should be investigated. That is his right, and indeed it is his duty to do that,” Mr. Blanche said.

That's what is called saying the quiet part out loud. Namely, telegraphing he will be totally in the service of trump when his duty is to serve the American people. He is no longer trump's defense attorney and he should not act like he is.
The other thing that makes Blanche more dangerous than Pam is he is a more skilled liar. I doubt we'll find him being as aggressive in his non-responsive answers to questions from senators as Pam was. I don't expect him to have cue cards with prepared insults on them. But he will be equally as subservient, equally willing to break the law, and more deft at doing both.
