I would like to start this thread to add recent police videos and news to occasionally.

I have a sincere gratitude to all those who serve with honor and integrity, and selflessly help complete strangers while giving most of us relatively-crime free neighborhoods to raise our families in.

The police get a lot of negative press. I will undoubtedly post mainly what I consider to be pro-LEO content here...

This video, crazy woman with multiple weapons charges officer after being tasered and ends up getting shot. Cops did not want to shoot her, having spent six minutes trying to de-escalate.

God bless them all. What a difficult job.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Although the idiot in pink who rolled up in her fat-girl mover certainly didn't help matters...

First Responding Cop: Phoenix Police Release Footage of Mall Shooting Action

Phoenix, AZ -- The Phoenix Police Department on Saturday posted a graphic body-camera video of one of its officers responding to last month’s deadly shooting at Desert Sky Mall. The video shows the first responding officer running toward the scene inside the mall. “’Active shooter’ were the words the first arriving officer heard,” the post says.

Reportedly preceded by an argument over a pair of shoes, the shooting happened on Valentine’s Day. Alejandro Martinez, 17, was killed. A 20-year-old man survived.

Here is the video. Cop is great. Well-done. ACAH....

Officer Sean Dooley was about to let this Kentucky man go on his way, when he pulled a gun and tried to shoot the officer at point blank range. He ends up dead, and officer is amazingly unharmed.

Shooting is at 6:15...

New York City crime soared in 2020...

Yet, NYC continues its war on police, and will become the first city to end qualified immunity for police officers. I hope the police union works with them to get them all affordable professional liability insurance.

The politicians who pass these laws have qualified immunity themselves, and their jobs are nowhere near as demanding as police officers, nor do they often have to make split-second decisions. The politicians normally get to think about things for days or weeks before making decisions that end up hurting Americans (such as sanctuary cities which provide immigration law immunity to foreign aliens who are illegal inhabitants.

New York City becomes the first city in the nation to end qualified immunity for police officers after slashing NYPD budget by $1 billion amid sweeping reforms
  • The New York City Council voted on Thursday to end qualified immunity for police officers which will open the door for them to face civil lawsuits
  • The legislation has yet to be signed by NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio - who is expected to sign it
  • Last summer, the city moved to divert $1 billion from the NYPD budget
  • The legislation creates a new local civil right protecting New Yorkers against 'unreasonable search and seizures' and 'excessive force'
  • New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson hailed the legislation and said qualified immunity was 'rooted in our nation's history of systemic racism'
  • The New York City bill also comes with several other bills and provisions taking authorities away from the NYPD and moving them to other agencies
  • In one proposal, the power of issuing and revoking press passes will move from the NYPD to the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment
  • Another bill will create a crash investigation and an analysis unit within the Department of Transportation
  • In a related bill, the NYPD will now be required to issue a quarterly report on all traffic and vehicle stops
  • In yet another bill, the Civilian Complaint Review Board, which investigates police misconduct, will be given the final authority to discipline cops

I trust that the distinguished members of the City Council will refrain from complaining or even filing a report if they (or their loved ones) are ever the victims of a violent crime.

What New York City really needs is to return to the Stop & Frisk policy. Sadly, some people respect only thing: an iron fist.

Today bad people are completely out of control, for they saw in 2020 that they can burn and loot and assault without any consequences.

Here in Los Angeles, they are so brazen that they are robbing people during daylight hours in nice districts and stealing their watches.

Montgomery county, MD police take heat for helping a distressed five-year-old boy who refused to go back to school. As part of the boy's discipline, an officer temporarily put one arm in had cuffs, explaining to the child what happens to people who continually misbehave.

Mother is now suing, "seeking justice and compensation for the trauma her son endured." In reality, his mother owes the officers thanks and praise for helping teach a valuable lesson to her son that day.

If only the boy's father had loved him as much as this officer clearly does.

There must be a special place reserved in H*LL for reprehensible hypocrites like him.

Serving mental health civil commitments on strangers, and picking guys up while scantily clad teenage girls walk the streets are not valid strategies to reduce crime in your neighborhood

True heroes...

Two Chicago cops shot in a split second by a suspect...

Both officers have since been released from the hospital. Unfortunately, the perp survived and will undoubtedly go on to harm others in the future.

Defund the police, they said....

Facebook Suspends Virginia Sheriff's Dept for Pro-American Flag Post Before July 4th Holiday

Harwood said authorities discovered their Facebook page was suspended Tuesday, following a post the department made in defense of the American flag and a local business.

In the lengthy Facebook post, the Madison County Sheriff's Office talks about the meaning of the American flag, including a well-known poem by Ruth Apperson Rous titled, "I am the Flag."

Harwood said the department made the flag post in support of the owner of Madison Pharmacy, who was criticized by a member of the community for flying an American flag outside her business. He said it's unbelievable that such a post would get taken down by Facebook.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office won't be putting up with it any longer, the sheriff said.

"Oh, I'm done with Facebook. I know Facebook won't shut down, but the Madison County Sheriff's Office is done with Facebook," he said. "It's time we stand up and say, 'Hey, we've had enough.'"

He said the department plans to create its own website to disseminate important information and will continue to rely on local media partners.

Here is what happens when you defund the police and replace them with social workers...

For the second time this year, an outreach worker for Safe Streets has been shot to death.

Safe Streets uses ex-offenders and others to physically stop violent incidents from occurring. The program in Cherry Hill recently celebrated one year without a homicide in the neighborhood.

Moment girl, six, is rescued by cops from kidnapper's car after eagle-eyed neighbor saw her being snatched from her front yard

  • Robby Wildt, 40, is charged with kidnapping of a minor in Louisville, Kentucky
  • Body camera video shows Louisville police officers rescuing six-year-old girl from Wildt's red Dodge Charger on July 2
  • A neighbor pursued Wildt and wrote down last three digits of his license plate, which he then gave to the police
  • Wildt allegedly told police he snatched the girl after seeing her playing outside her family's home
  • After he was caught, Wildt claimed he had decided to return her home because he was 'afraid he may hurt her' but was arrested before he could drop her off

Here is what happens when you defund the police and replace them with social workers...

Now Lori Lightfoot is trying it in Chicago. If you defund the police and crime increases, the proper fix is pretty obvious to everyone except Democrats in powerful positions...

Good luck with that! Chicago mental health professionals will be dispatched on 911 calls instead of cops following defund the police protests - as gang members now outnumber officers ten to one

  • The city is launching a two-part 'alternative response' pilot program this fall that takes a more public health approach to responding to mental health 911 calls
  • A mental health professional and a paramedic will be dispatched to mental health-related calls instead of police officers
  • Mental health professionals will also be stationed inside 911 call centers and, from October, will be responding to some 911 calls by phone
  • The initiatives aim to both ensure people suffering a mental health crisis get the help they need rather than jailed and free police up for tackling crime
  • It comes amid a mass exodus of cops from Chicago PD with 363 officers retiring between January and June this year - higher than the whole of 2018
  • Defund the police protests following George Floyd's murder have left only around 13,000 cops remaining while some crimes have surged
  • More than 100 people were shot and at least 17 killed over July 4 weekend alone, while shootings have spiked 11% so far this year
