Tagging JohnDB because I already agreed with you that Trump's security team was a joke, but this is chilling.

Cole was likely hiding out of line of sight of the officer....the dog alerted but his handler was unprepared, not well trained, unused to the dog.

Dogs and handlers must be trained together intensively to be any good.

And that's why Cole snuck by. Because immediately after this he makes a run for it.

The dog and handler is not as much an issue as much as the open and unlocked door.
It's a security breach to have an open, unlocked door to a room like...

Calling of flaws by one's own party and supporters did not happen to other presidents, of either party.

Supporters of Bush and Obama never felt the need to say "Oh, but I don't like everything about him," and enumerate their flaws. Supporters of Bill Clinton were cult-like in insisting on closing their eyes to his sexual misconduct.

If any Democrat did agree that Clinton was a bad actor in his personal live, they were marginalized, attacked, and cancelled. The difference is that it was Clinton himself that went after them, it was his hatchet man of a wife and her minions.

Me, I'll leave the whining about Trump's having a sinful past (as we all do) to Democrats and not Democrats whose party promotes cheating, stealing, perversion, and crime at every turn.
