Latest Iran offer not acceptable says Trump

That does not mean he had a contingency plan.
He gave rosy assessment of how long it would take in the first several days. Even saying we have won. When things went south, he said it is not as bad as I thought. He was covering his ass.
What "went south"? Iran's closing Hormuz? Its about to be reopened, don't cry.

The biggest thing that went south was the assumption that once they killed off all of the senior leaders, the 80% of the people who hate the regime would take over.
I feel Trump felt in a few weeks there would have been regime change. The US would be able to take all of the enriched uranium and the world would be a better place. It would have if that happened.

We think that all the time......or at least that is what we are told.

Most of what the Pentagon does is draw up contingency plans. They have contingency plans for contingency plans. The issue here is, who is Trump talking to? Is he reporting to the American people or is he trying to undermine the enemy's confidence. Or is he setting the stage to ignore the War Powers Act?

Easy one, the "War Powers act" is unconstitutional.
Trump talks to everyone, but especially Caine, Cooper, Hegseth, and CIA Director Ratcliff.
